I don't see a lot of players using IRNV, like one or two in a game, and they don't end up at the top of the leaderboards either.
The other drawback of IRNV is that you have to scope the enemy in medium to close quarters combat to accurately shoot unlike a holographic that is faster and easier.
IRNV is not over powered. And this is a good way to counter the annoying suppressed snipers camping all day.
This article came out more than 3 years late, this could be said the same for BC2.
GTA is a different game than COD. Not all COD gamers like third person role playing shooting scripted games. It will sell more than GTA IV but will not outsell MW3.

Yeah, and most of the time the players are scattered all over the map, like in Rush, leaving only a few to defend a station. Anyway, only a few are also attacking a station at the same time while the rest are doing their own 'business'.
Next gen console might do this but for now, it takes a bit of time to engage.
Maybe in PC, but in XBL it is common to hear a kid's voice taking command, heard a kid saying 'cmon guys let's pick up our game', and i thought great a 12 year old is our squad leader.

Big? no, BF3 is small but you have a big d.. It cannot even surpass COD MW2 and more so COD BOP in the XBL most games played list when it launched considering majority of the online BF3 players are in XBL you ignorant fool.
EA made an official announcement, that sales 'estimate' of BF3 for a week is near 5 million. And now it turns out it is actually only 2 million? Obviously another lie from EA, like using high end PC to market BF3's graphical prowess that is not true for consoles, saying they're taking a big pie of the COD market and trash talking COD all year long.
MW3 sales 6.5M first day US and UK alone, a week of sales will double this number, so BF3 turns out like BC2, that is NOT ...
I have played both, and true to what almost all video game reviewers said, MW3 is really hands down the best campaign so far in the COD series. BF3's campaign is the opposite of MW3. The author of this article needs his brains checked.
COD is so massive, a recognized and popular brand and now mainstream, so it is the envy of all game developers and publishers out there. So, they are doing everything to bring COD down.
On the other hand, you can't really satisfy everybody in this world, that's just life and so comes the COD haters, but these people won't really matter.

I like them both because they offer different game plays. TDM matches in MW3 and Rush and Conquest game modes for BF3. When the next gen console comes, there will be hardware support for any game types, so that is when the real battle begins.

There's some creative talent in treyarch, zombies anyone? It will be interesting what new gimmick they can come up with. But they should make the core shooting mechanics solid and perfect first, instead of trying too much on something else.

Yeah it's quicker because of the Quick Draw perk, making quick scoping more potent than MW2. Unrealistic and annoying, yes that is why BOP nerfed it only that they did it totally that was a mistake.
There is always a quick scoper for most games I played in TDM and very difficult to counter if they see you first. But they don't win all the time though, and takes some practice to be an effective q scoper.
The article is saying dominating not only in sales but user base. And in video games, it is all about sales that really matters in the end for a game. Why don't you think EA has been trashing COD all year?
So, just like in the XBL charts, MW3 dominated BF3, that is if you consider BF in the same league as MW considering a 25% only BF3 market share is still not on par.
