The reason is very simple. The user base of COD has reached a saturation point that the few 'haters' is now a big number in relation to the total mass that made these haters visible while the majority COD followers is not really saying anything much because they are satisfied with the game. As compared to other games, say BF3 that fewer people really care in caring and hating the game.
