Sweet's level 3 is his transformation into his Mech.
You can't insta-knock out everyone with a level 3, only some characters have that (Parappa, Toro, and Heihachi).
Level 1's are hardest to hit, level 2's are combo-friendly (you can combo into it easier)
Heihachi Meshima..is DEAD!
Fantastic news, they aren't screwing around with this game. It's clear that there is a lot of talent behind this, can't wait for EVO
Items, yes. other modes all revolve around the meter concept. (2 v 2, etc)
Preaching to the choir, friend
I do enjoy 3D more than I though I would, the pop it gives games adds to the immersion of what you are playing. There were some nifty gameplay uses with 3D in games like Pushmo, and new games like Paper Mario use it really well too. I mostly play in 3D.
I don't think Nintendo is giving up as much as they are resting the push. 3D isn't going to sell the system. Their games will do their talking now, and their sales are fantastic, so it's clear that they know that t...
"and a publisher which felt that the best thing for S4 was to copy elements from Uncharted, Killzone, CoD and Infamous."
Unsurprisingly, the publisher influences the direction most. I felt this is what Sony did with Killzone, SOCOM, and probably Uncharted 3 MP as well.
It's really disappointing, but not surprising to see publishers bend towards the mainstream. DICE is another one who gutted their game to appease a wider audience, and I can'...
I agree that a lack of thumbstick limits 3ds, but most of their games arent /wont be going for.the genres.that necessarily use the second stick like psv does. psvita emphasizes.current.gen cross play while 3ds games seem to show titles that represent the n64. Nintendo screwed up but great games can still come within the limits they set. at worst games will bundle the horrendous thumbstick add on that need it.
More like wishful flamebait. PSVita is the only handheld for fps games, nintendo doesnt even cater to that genre and the whole tagline is about getting the console experience. nothing to do with 3ds at all, this is just a campaign to capitalize on america's favorite genre. Nitrowolf said it best
They r still in pre alpha. they hav a lot of time to build some hype
No thanks to fighting game chRCters. their moves would be watered down and they dont scream playstation to me as much they wud scream MK or Tekken
Show some insomniac love for spyro and ratchet
I'd definitely like to see it
^ Agreed completely with Mike
Uncharted 2 is a rare exception of a game where multiplayer was built fantastically, and Uncharted 3 was an example of them adding too much.
That said, Uncharted is the only series which I cannot imagine without the Multiplayer, and I think everything else has been a lazy effort to try and cash in on the multiplayer scene.
Bioshock, Dead Space, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, all highly rated single play...
Since the rating is separate, I assume this is not an HD bundle, but two separate ports for PSN.
^ I never said it was true, you're the one who through the opinions of the mass critics at me. And I agree: Many games don't have as good a story or gameplay. I agree with what you say about Halo, there is a whole laundry list of games that are at the top that lack severely in what made older games so much better. I've never cared for Mass Effect either, Gears looks boring to me too. COD4's single player was great, and I liked WaW too-- much to the extent that I liked Uncharte...

I played it on hard and crushing, the game is relatively easy, sorry. I didn't say Uncharted wasn't a great game, I enjoyed it thoroughly, but not as the pinnacle of gaming that some seem to praise it as. Puzzles were really simple, boss fights largely consisted of running and hipfiring, and the story isn't anywhere near as great as some give credit for. There is hardly any depth to solving puzzles or facing boss fights, so yes, it lacked depth and skill-...
I can't seem to edit my comment above, so I'll go on to say that the original writer makes a solid point in that cinematic games no longer reward gamers for using actual problem solving skills, but simply make things easier to promote the casual appeal of action-paced games. This was the problem with Uncharted, often praised for being so cinematic, but as a game, it was very easy with standard gameplay depth that we expect to see today. Polished, but lacking in depth or skill. This wa...
He never said that. He just promoted an article from another guy who equated MW2 to the Dark Knight
Getting killed doesn't result in the loss of your AP. Throws reduce your AP, and so do some weapon attacks. I think some moves take out AP as well, but you can get killed without consequence of your own AP. Death subtracts one point from your overall score, kills are two points each, so that is the main reason to avoid death.
