Good point. This is not simple brand fidelity. It's a gamble. It's about future. When you buy a console, you're not over with it, you expect many games to be made for it by various developers.
It's too late for you to buy X360, It's alreday reached it's adulthood.
The real bauty of having a console is having it from her start! So you can follow her development from the very beginning and fully enjoy it. If you buy X360 now, it has way too many games available, and good ones, so you'll never be able to catch-up which will frustrate you the most. And not to mention that if you show up now at XBL, you'lll only be another...

No warranty here, or, even if I had it, God knows for how long would I have to wait for it to get repaired. Not to mention that I live in the middle of a forest and that it'd be a real pain in the a$$ to have it repaired.
Also, an important thing. I don't want warranties! I want a good product. Because I like to mod my consoles. I break the warranty the day I...
I'm a n00b too, but I think I know the answer to your question :)
40GB PS3 is practically a new product (with wifi and BT) on the shelves, so it needs to be registered at FCC, regardless of the fact that 60GB and 80GB are already registered.
Am I right? Any experts out there?
As for the difference, no one knows right now. They say it will be without USB ports, but that's stupid.
"I think Microsoft fans need to realize that tens of millions of people around the world hate Microsoft"
True, I live in Europe and not one person I know likes Microsoft. They either don't care, don't like it, hate it or fight it (I have some "open-source" friends who fight for the light side :).
