exactly. put rdr2(which as a whole is a MUCH larger game) head to head with GoT. Rdr2 beats GoT in virtually every visual department. Also beats it in the sound department. If you really wanna talk about "last gen" then GoT's open world design and animation is "last gen".
your typical pathetic "this person thinks a multiplat is better than exclusive, that must mean hes an xbox fanboy". Grow up..you literally represent 3/4 of n4g users. I personally think rdr2 is a great game and GoT is a MEH game and i only play PS4..guess im unique eh XD
why because they dont like a game that you do?? SO TROLLY
it's sad when the only thing you can use to refute their claim is the game's navigation system..lol it's literally the same gps auto route system as GTA that no one has ever complained about. Set a way point and it shows you the way to go. But, you don't HAVE to follow the road..it still shows you the overall direction on the compass. GoT comes no where NEAR rdr2 in terms of world building and open world exploration. Ever read an article about how GoT "redefines open worl...
you're not hating on the game you're just stating the truth. Rrd2 is miles ahead of GoT when it comes to world building and exploration but the simple fact that it's a ps exclusive people will always disagree. GoT's exploration is extremely limited when it comes to what you're ACTUALLY discovering. It's either a FOX den, Shrine, Bamboo cut, Sword cosmetic, or a haiku. THAT'S IT. Everything else is repetetive npc interactions where they're always tied by the wri...
GOW beats ghost in literally every department. It doesn't challenge GOW one bit. Story? no. Characters? no. Graphics? no. Gameplay? no. There's a reason ghost is sitting at an 83 meta and not a 95 like GOW.
can we please stop pretending like ghost has some great story and a cast of blockbuster characters. It just doesn't. Praise what ever else you want to but it's a fairly forgettable experience on that front. FORBES named this game their "GAME OF THE GENERATION". And, within that same article they openly admitted the game had an(and i quote) "uninteresting story" and that jin overall was pretty generic. I don't love this gamr which is why i'm having a hard ti...
got gameplay doesn't even touch tlou2 what are you smoking. It's literally a clone of assasains crees unity but with horribly bland auto aim platforming. Bad AI on top of that that gives an overall less satisfaction when defeating your enemies unlike tlou2.
someones hurt by review scores. gamers are the cesspool.
well let's begin. The game has an "uninteresting story"(quoted by FORBES who just labeled GoT the GAME OF THE GENERATION..ironic). Generic open world mission structure. Your typical watch towers and outposts to "liberate". Lackluster animations outside of blade combat. Bad pacing due to the constant interuption of fade to black cutscenes to hide the absense of basic animations just to fast forward the scene. Horrible AI that is essentially identical to the likes of Ass...
i'll see if any comments can refute any of these points. Probably not.
a game that scored an 83 meta is somehow better than games such as GOW, TW3, BLOODBORNE, UC4, TLOU2 etc.? Oh lemme guess...the reviewers were part of some conspiracy to give Ghost lower scores? Go look at every sucker punch game since infamous 1. They ALL averaged around a 84 meta score. They have not changed their approach to open world design since and it reflects in those reviews that most tend to agree on its generic open world design.
please name one thing Ghost does better than TW3 other than combat? Story? No. Characters? Hell no. Side quests? BIG no. Mission structure variety? No. Customization? lol you get one sword and a handful of armor sets with color customizations that TW3 also has. World building? Other than its geography, the world itself is lifeless. Lifeless npcs that you cant speak to and most dont achnowledge you. The npcs don't adapt/live around the day/night and weather cycle like they do in TW3. TW3 h...
Big no. In the articlr the authot admits the game had an "uninteresting story". And, that it does everything we've come to see from this gen with open world games. Then, they go onto say that they executed all of those mechanics better than anyone. Specifically how there's a lack of clutter on the screen with the blowing wind mechanic and you have a sense of freedom unrivaled. Rdr2 easily beats this game when it comes to lack of clutter when exploring. Let alone the explorat...
no it's not her voice. it's not her performance at all. read the article. the person is claiming it's s "replica" of her cover.
Wait. So this person wants "CREDIT" or "COMPENSATION" for a COVER...OF HER COVER!? This is actually hilarious. It's not her original song nor her actual performance used in the trailer. If this were copyright infringement, then Jeff Buckley's estate could sue everyone for copying his COVER of hallelujah. Even though, it's leonard cohen's song. No credit needs to be given technically. It's a nice gesture, but no where near copyright infringement
has a high score. "good review" LOL
EVERYONE goes into a game with preconceived notions. Wether it be by previews or impressions from hands on journalists. And, especially the delopers past titles. This game isn't special. Don't cherry pick. This is the first kojima game i've decided not to buy since mgs4. And's yes, it's because i did my research before making a purchase and decided this is not my game. OH THE HORROR. HOW COULD I!?
funny. he does mention all of that. Congrats! you commented on a headline and not the content. You get N4G member of the year award.
agree with that assessment except the notion that rdr2's world was "bland". If you've truly done everything you could in that world you'd probably say otherwise. The only open world this generation that is in the same ball park is The Witcher 3...which i did enjoy more. But the best open worlds this gen are still Rdr2 and TW3. The only games in recent time that attempted to redefine the fatigued genre
