Wow good news, hope to see some Crisis Core on my Ps3 soon.
Wow, I remember when I heard that they were releasing a new BloodRayne game I thought "sweet, the first one was cool"...but after seeing how they are doing this one they just lost a sale.
Whatever the studio head of Team Bondi came right out and said R* didn't do much...surely not enough to were it should be advertised as a R* developed game.
Besides my whole point was they are using the R* name to sell it, not in one single commercial did I even hear them mention it was made by team bondi all I heard is coming from R* games. Go ahead and defend it all you want you know it's true.
I don't get it, they IP ban people for stuff like calling out mods and such but they don't do it to people like this....
EDIT: yea i'm sure their are (proxy sites and such) but still get a life.
Well if i was to play those games on my PC they wouldn't look anywhere near as good as as the first wave of games from this gen consoles. PC gaming is a double edge sword....yea sure you can brag about how good the graphics CAN be but it's not like everyone is gonna be able to play them maxed out...hell I bet most people who buy them can't even run them maxed.
For me though it's always gameplay before graphics, it's just nice when you can get both.
Best open world maybe, not the best though.
Yea that'll never happen. I believe damn near all Mario games have outsold pretty much every other game ever made and I believe it's the best selling franchise in video game industry history and maybe in the entire entertainment industry.
Uhh the lead guy at Team Bondi said in an interview that R* didn't really do anything and that a majority of the work was already done...i believe all R* did was bring in expensive tech to polish the game up.
And still you know that they are using the R* name to sell it....even if they helped a bit it's still really a Team Bondi game with a majority of the work done while it was still being published by Sony but we all know R* brings people in like drones.
If this happened I don't think any game this gen would satisfy me more, sucks that Amy Hennig wouldn't be writing it but I still have high hopes.
Of course it'll sell good they are using the Rockstar name just to get them extra sales, not that LA Noire is a bad game...infact it looks like it could be one of the best this year but sadly we all know they are just using the R* name to sell it.
Ha yea I know people who are still playing the original starcraft and have been pretty much since launch and that says some great things about the game....I guess I was always more of the lone soldier type of guy and wanted to get in to the action and do some damage on my own rather than send troops and such in to do my dirty work.
Ha well I guess it's comforting to hear some players are horrid at the game, seems that's how a lot of MP games are...just a few good people on your team and you'll dominate which makes me happy as I usually try to find people who are passionate about the games they play and actually play the game modes instead of treating them like TDM.
The only people on here who actually give them "credit" are people who are anti-sony but god knows if they would of hacked all console online services those who are cheering them on would be singing a different tune.
I personally hate the idea of hacking, yea I get the whole all information should be available for the public but true hackers you know the OG ones weren't talking about stuff like this they were talking about information mainly from the governmen...
I have no problem with getting destroyed for a while, it was the same situation when I picked up Killzone 2...everyone who played was pretty much a Vet but after about a month or so of playing I was usually top of my team or close...good to hear it's addictive though and yes putting money toward Uncharted 3 is a smart idea.
Ok so I have to admit something...I HATE RTS games, with a passion (no hate toward the players of RTS games though), I could just never get into them...but I'm so excited for Starhawk ever since I seen the gameplay. I've been waiting for a truly good online 3rd person shooter exclusive from Sony (loved Uncharted though) and from the gameplay vids I've seen Starhawk is it.
Can't wait for this game, I'm prolly exchange the copy of R:FOM i bought yesterday in for Warhawk to prepare for it (would keep Resistance but all anyone plays is 1 hit kill matches and that stuff is lame).
Eh from a business stand point if I was head of SCE I'd charge $10 a year for online play but I'd include 3-6 free months with every new ps3. That would make them millions of extra $$ a year (or at the least cover any loses they have from online services) and it'd still be cheaper than the alternative, and all they'd really have to do to be on par with XBL is get XGC in the mix because besides that XBL doesn't really have more and you still have to look at stupid ad's ...
I got one of mine from hotmail it just took about 12-15 hours to get, still waiting on my other one though.
They didn't fail me so I guess they didn't fail everyone.
Finally a Monster Hunter game on Ps3, just wonder how long we'll have to wait to get it in the states.
