The Robin Hood image they are trying to create for themselves is laughable. I would give them some credit if they hacked the PS3 on their own but that's not the case, the hack is a stolen internal, none commercial use IP from Sony, so these hackers can go to hell or jail, which ever comes first.
I can imagine the look on the federal judge face once Sony shows proof that the hack was stolen from their tech lab and sold to the highest bidder.

I think this is great news considering the future of video games.
Because this is the internet, and you would be hard pressed finding anyone on the internet that can give you an answer with any good reason.

I think Kinect will have it's own novelty market, but even at the $150 price tag I don't see casual gamers going nuts over it, not when you can pick up a move bundle for $50 less if you own a PS3, or even $100 less if you own a PS3 and already have the cam.
Not to mention that it is launching when all the Nintendo big hitters are coming out, so the Nintendo audience will be busy and might just ignore Kinect all together, not a smart time if you are going for the Wii...

It's always when you are kicking ass that the network either lags to shi#t, or your system freezes, or the network kicks you.
I was playing U2 one day and i was a complete beast in this death match 5vs5 game, i was kicking so much butt that whenever the guys on the other team saw me coming they would run the other way, lol.
Worked my way up to 30 kills and 2 death, we needed 3 more kills to win the match, then it happened....

I find it strange that after all the Sony interviews that took place at GamesCom, none of the Sony execs are talking about Mass Effect 2. I would love to hear from Sony about EA's announcement. I wonder why they are being so tight lipped about it.
The fact that it is winning awards at GamesCom over Kinect and whatever Nintendo had on displayed there say a lot. I think Europe is going to eat that thing up.

But you have to look at it from a business perspective, if you want people to pick your game up and enjoy it then you can't force them to buy the entire trilogy, and that is the reason why ME2 failed to outsell ME1 because people felt like they could not just jump in and play because they did not buy ME1.
As you can clearly see this idea of linking the trilogy in this way is flawed because it limits your sales to the people who bought the first game in the trilogy.
This game is getting some super duper polish.
Wow way too many meltdowns all over the net about this. Are people really that crazy to think that BW and EA did not want expand the ME audience? =o
And to all the people dooming the PS3 version because it won't allow you to port your choices over, GTFO, I played both ME 1&2 and 99% of these choices don't mean jack, in fact ME2 plays better when you don't carry over your save file, it feels fresh and more like how ME1 should have been.
Can't wait. Playing ME1 right for my PC and having a blast. PS3 FTW...

Holy cow, everything in the course of 30-35 days, what the hell Nintendo, how do you expect these games to sell when they are all major titles being released so close to each other on the same platform? My money dont grow on trees.
I guess i will just have to buy one game, beat it then trade it in towards the next, and so on. The games are too close to each other.
