My reply was meant for offdawall.
And the numbers for the week are there if you follow the links.

@ disagrees, kulex47 and DigitalAnalog, you cannot be that dense.... if the Move launched in Japan and we compare the launch with the numbers from last week we can clearly see that the Move did not bump the PS3 at all, so to answer offdawall statement the Move did not help the PS3 in Japan on launch week.

.... it's only on PlayStation.

PS3 is beast since Move launched. EU is eating that thing like it's candy.

This game looks awesome.

VGC.com just put up their world wide numbers for the week, guess what? they were under tracking the PS3 by over a million units over the period of 2 years.
They just discovered that the MOVE was a major success in EMEAA since it launched.

The PS3 have been out selling the WII and XBOX360 for almost every week since the launch of the MOVE.

Now the PS3 is at 40.2 million sold on their website, and the PS3 out sold the DS this week worldwide.

The week 1 Japan numbers are in.

As you can see week one was not that great, hope Sony will have more refined numbers soon on the Japan launch.

Porn, alcohol, cigarettes, and laundromats are the only things that are recession proof.

BS, everyone is saying otherwise, 3D is the future, but dont expect high sales because it still in early its adoption phase. Stop the hate Goozernation.com

"It's ahead of what I thought previously," said Michael Pachter, an analyst with Wedbush Securities. "I think that they are a lock to sell 3 to 4 million by Dec. 31, and a lock to hit more than 5 million by fiscal year end" on March 31."

Ohh but last week he was all "nope, Move bombed", yeah now what Michael Pachter?
Someone should fire this guy.

Looks just like MW1, absolutely no difference. It's like selling drugs once, people are hooked all you have to do is just change the name of the latest product (even though it looks and smells the same, and offer the same end results) and people will flood to it as if it is new or different.

Well you know what, at least the option is there for those who can afford it and for those that want to experience it.
Some people want to have the luxury of 3D gaming now/today why not give it to them? And the cost is arguable, not everyone works at Walmart making $7 an hour, some people if not most can afford it. The average Playstation 3 owner is over 30 years old and they make very good money.

The combination of rain being kicked up by the car tires, plus the effect of the light from the car headlight hitting that same rain drop, and that same rain drop is mixing with the smoke from the exhaust of 8 cars on the track revving and making life like engine sounds and so on......

But i must say that the multiplayer is not all that great, the limited guns and maps is really making me considering taking this game back to the store for a trade in. After a week of playing it i feel like i have done everything this game has to offer.
The single player on the other hand was awesome.

I love the 5.1 and 1080p videos. It's like a bluray being streamed to my tv.

A title on n4g never made me lol like this one did. I think it's the other way around though, Sony saved Kinect from GT5, end of story.

60 Million and counting play-mag.com so keep hating. I dont think your web site will attract 60 million users in it's life time, and that's pathetic considering you provide a service that is about $250 cheaper than the PSP.

This is perfect, Sony said they are meeting expectations, good, case closed. Sales numbers are not important at all at this level, the move will get total support from all parties as long as Sony says so, and support is all that matters.

Great point Danne.
