They raged about the 4 days extra on PS4... without a doubt they will rage about this as well. Graphic comparisons could get entertaining.

They have a marketing plan and they stick to it. Remember how the multiplayer of the PS3 version was revealed just a few days before launch? They like to keep their stuff as secret as possible and I for one don't worry about their releases.

If this is Gamestop's plan to "survive" then it's a bad one, why should I buy from Gamestop if I can buy on PSN? And actually giving the money to the people making the games, not just distributing them.

Hahaha buuurnn! I perfectly remember how he called Titanfall superior to Destiny even before TF launched... if he was just a random guy I would've forgot that statement already but he's a special case :D
Still PS4 users get the complete package and the most fun out of their purchase. It's not only weapons and armor, there are some competitive multiplayer maps and cooperative dungeons exclusive as well. And it's only going to increase since the expansions will have exclusive content as well so it definately is a big deal.
The pre-load is (of course) only for the full version.

Sony always has some cool announcements for each show, at Gamescom the focus is on european developers like Media Molecule, Guerilla Games, Evolution, Quantic Dream and Sony London are. I'm almost sure we'll see the new projects for some of these studios.
It definately ran acceptable on PS4, many PC's had more issues with it.
Honestly? Destiny is bigger for me than GTA. It's just a whole new level of RPG awesomeness which I'm going to play for a long time. GTA on the other hand didn't really evolve in the last few years, I was really bored by GTA4 & 5.
Entitled die-hards won't even consider this, Halo fans are a special bunch.
I can't confirm any issues, runs smoother than the Alpha. Just the Download was a hassle.
