Microsoft simply sucks at making hardware, no wonder they are focusing on the cloud so much. I completely agree with Wizard_King, I'd rather see another company take Microsoft's spot in the console sector.

Giving out free maps and DLC would be bad for business. Would you want to work 8 hours a day just to make someone happy instead of getting paid for it?

More customization and RPG elements, big plus in my book. I'm also looking forward to the coop, I always thought that competitive multiplayer doesn't fit into the AC universe... but coop opens up great possibilities.
All in all I see only positive changes, I'm already convinced that I'll like this AC better than the previous ones :)
I don't think it's the fact that MS is charging for patches... don't forget that it's coming out for PS3 and X360 as well. They would most probably support the X1 more if it was outselling the PS4.

a.) this being a marketing deal with Sony, kinda like with Destiny
b.) they are focussing on PS4 because they are expecting the biggest player base there
c.) it's so easy to work on PS4 that the extra work is not a big deal
I'd actually be disappointed if only one new game would be announced. There are so many unnanounced projects in the works at Sony's Worldwide Studios that I'm expecting at least 2 big announcements next week.
I hope this backfires and he has to pay the legal expenses. It's really ridiculous and it would be even more so if he gets through with it. People didn't even notice this before it was analyzed thoroughly.
The elemental question is, is it a good investment to get a X1 if you have a PC or a PS4 already? Considering it's high price, the online subscription and the overall weaker hardware everyone should be able to answer this for himself easily. Over a year ago I said that the most well gaming setup for the next few years consists of
1. PC
2. PS4
3. Wii U
and I still think that hasn't changed. If you have enough money and more importantly time to enjoy all...
I think PES13 was the best football game of the last few years gameplay-wise. PES14 was crap but FIFA has lots of flaws as well. I was so annoyed by FIFA14 that I sold it after a few weeks.

It's not like the game itself is oh so great. The licenses and transfer updates sell it every year. Kinda sad if you think about it, CoD at least has something new every year.
Development costs are rising, I see this as a way to support the developer. I won't buy any DLC though (despite my avatar), I can enjoy the game without it.

Yes, I hoped for Octodad or finally Secret Ponchos which were promised for early 2014. This is a bit weak but I have to say that I don't have any of these games... so I might try them out.
