They definately did say that in the months before launch. But people probably were busy raging about online gaming being tied to PS+ now.

@Topic: Good news but it still requires a subscription just like Elder Scrolls: Online, doesn't it? And as far as I know, Destiny doesn't have that at all while looking like the higher quality game overall.

I want developers to focus on new projects, I couldn't care less about last years Tomb Raider that I didn't even finish on PS3 just because it's on PS4 now with better explosions and hair physics. Especially not for the full price, what is Square thinking? I wouldn't even pay the full price for GTA5 or TLOU on PS4.

Well noone gives a s**t about that parity clause if they don't want to release on Xbox. It's the developers choice and I'm sure they have a plan already.
This exactly gives me hope that they'll rather go with Sony than with MS. Joe Danger also was a timed PS3 exclusive back then.
Without a doubt, VR is much more useful for gaming than Kinect. Imagine how immersive games like Skyrim or The Witness will be with that thing.
Well it's great for people who switched from PS3 to X360 to get into the Gears Of War series ...unfortunately there aren't any such people.

Definately, high quality game without annoying microtransactions but rather free maps and serverside-patches.
Now the customers need to help fixing the product they paid for ...I hope DICE but especially EA learned from this fiasco ...

Not to downplay the games on the 3DS but there are lots of good games for PSV, e. g.
Gravity Rush, Tearaway, Killzone Mercenary, Wipeout 2048, Super Stardust Delta, Persona 4 Golden, Uncharted and more.
PS4 compatibility is just a big plus imo.
And got praise from every critic. That's some 20$ well spent.

Please don't expect full price games yet, they are still selling way too good to give them away for free. And don't forget that PS+ Users will also get the Destiny Beta and DriveClub.
Well I guess nobody expected it to be as good as on PS3 ...where there's a huge library to choose from. In the next months I'm expecting a lot more indie games, betas, discounts and early accesses than on PS3 though. PS3 will probably get lots of great full-price games that aren't selling anymore ...which lots of people will be happy about.

Same here. If this thing works perfectly with the PS4 and every game I'm certainly very interested. I would even be ok with a relatively high price if it's awesome.
Monthly sub = superior quality?
This might be true most of the time but look at Destiny ...this game screams quality while not having a monthly subscription. Elder Scrolls Online on the other hand doesn't look that impressive after seeing so many MMO's in the last few years.
