Play Destiny if you want a Halo RPG, I don't think this series needs anymore spin offs ...Halo Wars made that pretty clear imo.
This is going way too far ...I'm not a Microsoff fan but the NSA is worse than MS could ever be. Soon you can't feel safe anywhere because everything is under surveillance by someone.
I'm not hearing much positive about that game yet ...you can buy it when the price dropped, most bugs *should* be fixed by then ...I for one won't give them my money at all. Didn't like BF3, the private server system and these tons of DLC ruined it for me.
Very well written and as someone who is active in marketing I completely approve of this post. :)
Well a golden Xbox is something I would never use for myself I'd just sell it if I got it for free ...the same goes for a normal Xbox lol
Both sidesxare somewhat understandable, BUT ...don't forget that movies can't be shared like games can. Imagine doing someone a "Lets watch" for a 90min movie, that wouldn't be allowed too. You can basically see every game from start to finish on Youtube and and I'm sure this has some effect on sales and I would think it's rather negative than positive (as a form of advertisement).
I for one have no problem with that but I can understand that som...
It would be better from a marketing perspective, too. A Wahawk 2 exclusively for PS4 would sound much more exciting than a Warhawk PS3 Remaster. It could be a multiplayer only game with an online campaign just like Titanfall. Would suit the franchise better than the way Starhawk did it imo.
Well it would have reached a lot of gamers ...but it's an unannounced game, Donkey Kong is acceptable. Nothing groundbreaking though so it doesn't help Nintendos situation.
And Kingdom Hearts 3 :D
And who is a "professional" in this industry? Please tell me one, it should be someone unbiased of course. Maybe the folks at IGN or Edge these days ...otherwise I don't know.
I know what you mean but still these concepts are somehow new and better than the re-release of a game we got a few months ago.
Dying Light has parkour elements which seem to work really well and change up the gameplay of Dead Rising.
Destiny is a shooter/RPG like Borderlands but with larger, persistant online worlds.
And The Division seems to be an open world game with many walkable buildings and a strongly improved presentation overall.
Well there are definately a few if not a dozen indie developers saying similar things about Microsoft so there is some truth behind this.
Well it would certainly help the industry to grow and get more mainstream acceptance ...but I'm not quiet sure whether we're already there yet. I think a big, official event where the best developers for each category/genre are chosen would suit this industry better. And unlike the VGX it should have a more serious approach so that developers really feel honored and try to win it.
^I misunderstood some things about Destiny, especially the "shared world" and the "dungeon like raids" made me think it's similar but it isn't quiet there. But still - it has a persistant online world like an MMO and overall superior quality without a monthly fee ...so my point wasn't completely rubbish :D
Well yes, after giving it a second thought you are right that really was a bad comparison :D
But Destiny still has lots of similarities with MMO's, especially the persistant online world and the dungeon-like raids.
You really would? I don't know ...I'm truly in love with this game (#1 on my "Best PS3 Games"-list) but here in Germany new games cost 70€ ...which is a lot for a game I finished 3x already. As I've said before, my pain threshold would be at about 40€ for real masterpieces like TLOU, Demon's Souls or God Of War 3.
Yes I am too somehow but as I said, I won't give them the full price (69,99€ in Germany at the moment) for it. I think 39,99€ would be my pain threshold.
Well I guess I'm not the only one who didn't think about THAT before ...but it's a great idea. Just let the same team make a Warhawk 2 without any fundamental changes to the core gameplay and I'm sure it will be a smash hit. Warhawk is still considere by some as the best multiplayer game on PS3.
Yes I didn't, it was part of my huge backlog and I just didn't have the time to go through all "ok" and "good" games and focused only on the "great" ones. I think Tomb Raider belonged to the "good" but after so many similar games this gen I felt like having played that before - that's the reason why I want developers to focus on new stuff instead of rehashing lastgen.
It's not only graphics ...it's primarily the gam...
Well people who wished for a PS4 probably got one already :P
