Fully agree, I'll definately spend a few bucks if the game is fun just to support it ...but I don't want it to harm the gameplay itself (e. g. Pay2Win). I'd also say that by now most developers have learned how to use the F2P model in a good way so I'm absolutely not concerned yet.
I'm very excited for this game, the PS4 needs a good RPG at the moment and this seems to be a perfect fit.
I just hope the F2P aspect won't ruin the experience ...
I prefer gaming on a console for various reasons.
Another entry in the category "games noone ever asked for"
I really don't know why some companies develop dozens of bad titles instead of focussing on one good game.
I would never play this on PC.
Agree with all above and most below me :D
I think that Uncharted needs to grow in scale with this new hardware. I don't mind linear levels but I think you can only do 'so much' in such games. A big open world kinda like AC4 would be interesting from Naughty Dog. Something where they can innovate since "real" or "cinematic" open world games are still at their early stages. The hints that pointed to a Pirate game certainly would make that possible but I...
Well it's another story if you talk about the "official russian PS4 distributor" ...I'd call that "improper use of a monopoly" and it's probably even prosecutable if true.
Most of the assets in GT6 are practically next gen ready, I'd say we'll get GT7 rather sooner than later.
That's the reward for years of preparation and listening to your customers, I'm glad they are succesful with it and I'm looking forward to all those PS4 games, especially those from Sonys Worldwide Studios =)
GTA Online was to be expected after the huge hype, MS on the other hand completely surprised me with their stupidity ...good thing that they did that 180 and got rid of Don Matrick in the process. Also, Battlefield 4 would deserve a honorable mention in my book even though it's far from the Sim City desaster.
This reads like
"We expected a 399$ console to run like a 799$ PC so porting our game is a challenge now"
You can't do anything against common sense ...cheaper, more powerful, better history of exclusives, 'nuff said.
It's not a Zelda game, why compare it to them?
^PS Plus is better right now, no discussion needed. This might change in the future but Microsoft is certainly not there yet.
@topic: I also think that the DS4 is more comfortable and has the better features than the XB1 controller. This wasn't the case with the DS3 but Sony made all the right changes on the DS4.
How about closing your door? I prefer being alone while gaming anyway.
I'll only consider one that is compatible with PS4 ...not interested in Oculus if it's PC only.
Demon's Souls > Skyrim
And plastic.
I already love this console generation because of the awesome player-developer communication. We complain, they listen and a few weeks later we get what we asked for, I hope this keeps up in the future.
So what? Most people have gotten tired pf Terraria (even with the new patch) a long time ago so I'm glad that Starbound became a good alternative.
Thanks for the review, was unsure whether to get this but you convinced me :) Very good read!
