Gears 2 will probably sell more than R2, but R2 will probably be better.
This has to do with the hype around Gears and how much MS will advertise it.
And Insomniac(R2) completely owns Epic(gears), thats why I think R2 will be better.
But you can't really compare these games, ones a 3rd person shooter and the other a 1st person shooter and are both very different, plus they're on different consoles so they won't be competing at all so it doesn't matter.
