you should buy a 4K tv. also you would probably find cheap ones on the upcoming sales.
from all the scores i seen thus far the average is 9.333/10. now that is incredible. Scorpio has a tough battle when it arrives.
of course but that doesn't mean that they should release a new headset every year with (probably) minor upgrades at each iteration. IMO it is a lot better to release a much better version later than just spamming more vr headsets each year.
it's good to see but it would perhaps be dissapointing for vive users that payed 799$ to find out their headset will soon be outdated already (IMO they shouldn't go with the smartphone route, but release a new version perhaps every 3~5 years would make things better)
looks great, seems that people who tried it at london were very immpressed and the gameplay footages look great as well (although that commpression is annoying), also with the console already running out in amazon UK seems to sign that it would do great sales wise.

only that the in e3 sony confirmed that all of the footage presented were from a standart ps4 and that in the demo this guy has played it was with a standart PS4pro? you people don't even listen.
sounds like a major improvement in the pro. they probably won't manage to maintain the native 4k that he seen in the demo but it still looks awesome even at 1080p so making it use checkerboard would be still amazing.
although i prefer their answer, he is not wrong. if they use the checkerboard technique, they would reach about half the calculations needed meaning that it would be possible to do 4k upscaled with 60 fps (half the calculations needed to reach 4k with twice the calculations for 60fps should fix itself to making it work)
none of those videos includes Horizon zero dawn my most hyped game ;_;
but all of the games there looks great either way.

he is aware of that but he means that you don't need a PS4pro for these so if you already got an HDR capable TV you can see it
they didn't say a more stable framerate but they said they were looking into "enhancing the quality of our shadow maps and increasing the quality of our anisotropic filtering. This is a technique which increases the quality of texture sampling, resulting in more detailed environment textures." but that they still need to tweak this.
actually the gameplay has some unique stuff to it like hunting which by the looks of it (you can see it in the gameplay video from a few days ago) seems awesome and a different experience in a game and also some great people are working on this game (CDPR on open world and Fallout NV writer) so i think this game will probably end up pretty great.
@NextGenCeo yea definitely great prices, i currently own a ps4 (which i bought like a few weeks before they decreased the price by 75$ in my country (for comparison, in my country it was about 500$ and a few weeks later it was cut to about 425$ and now it may go lower cause of the slim while the pro will cost 600$, yep taxes are annoying) so i may buy it if the price will be cut down by then.

it may be a loss at your price point, but i definitely see sony price cutting the PS4 to 249$ and the pro to 349$ near the scorpio's release.

I agree with the second point, Sony are always thinking outside the box with their solutions to stuff (potential 8.4tf with only 4.2tf, HDR without HDR XD, checkerboard up scaling method (which by the way I heard from some people that with this method it may even be possible to upscale 1080p movies to 4k with this although it wasn't officially confirmed by Sony)) unlike another company which their best solutions is sticking more power to their console and stating claims they can't kee...
well if you have a ps4 you may want to sell it in order to buy a pro. that way you are getting a much higher resolution and better looking games.
