Days Gone wasn't listed as 2018, probably puts it and Detroit at late summer to early spring. TLOU 2 is fairly early in development so it is probably a 2019 release with SP new game as well and finishing with 2020 with Death Stranding and Horizon 2 cross release with the ps5 a few months afterwords is my guess (horizon may be a ps5 launch exclusive though).
from what i heard the stats given hint that ARMS sold about 15k copies on launch week. that's kinda low.
isn't 30% of players finishing the story a pretty good amount. usually games are much lower than this sadly. also it's an RPG so not realy that surprising.
@FITSniper well yea but the thing is that after a certain point in the game you don't really need distractions as you are powerfull enough to face the enemies.
we have a serious problem next gen, price decreases for many important parts of the future consoles are way too slow. i fear that 499$ may really become the standard next gen.
the only difference i notice is better draw distance on the 1X. TBH paying 100$ more (and possibly more than that if the pro is being price cut for the holidays) for that upgrade doesn't feel like it's worth it.
if true that is pretty dissapointing by them.
Sony actually said that they ain't gonna reveal release dates at E3 anymore because they fear they'll miss it so instead they give a release window they confident they'll reach (Horizon DLC at fall 2017, GOW at early 2018).
TBH, i don't care about disagree votes. i just wanted to point out it is nearly impossible.
i really doubt that picture, it could be shipped but in no way sold. the xbox one has been losing every month in NPD (and even worse in the rest of the world) and yet it selling like 10 milion in a year? doesn't sound logical to me at all.
EDIT: now thinking about even shipped is too much. that would mean about 6 milion units sitting in stores and that is a ridiculus number. also XBOX one sales has gone down YOY how could it sell more?! I am 99% sure this is incorrect....
It is not that the PS4 is less attractive in the us it is that a huge amount of xbox users are American.
PC is not yet confirmed for the game and the article states that "We’ve heard from multiple sources that Rockstar has recently been pursuing cross-platform multiplayer across Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions of Red Dead Redemption 2."
interesting. i hope that sony would change their mind on cross play as it seems that many games are trying to push cross play. i wonder how would that work with early content on playstation.
bad optimisation perhaps?
interesting seeing all 3 main Playstation games above Super Mario.
Spiderman is gonna sell tons.
my guess it'll be like catwoman in arkham city where you have a few missions as him and at one point peter's in danger and Miles saves him or something like that.
I am not angry at all at bioware for using CBR 4k IMO it is a great feature for games with great results. BUT, i am angry at MS for making false claims. MS claimed that the XBOX one X will be a machine to utilise TRUE 4k in their games but now we know that their two main third party games do not even use true 4k but rather CBR 4k. I expect this trend to continue where 900p games on the X1 will become 2160c on the X1X while 1080p games (mostly exclusives) would reach 2160p.
Uncharted 4 to the pro was definitely a lazy port don't get me wrong, i am just saying that numbers wise for increasing the res from 1080p to 2160p you need 5.2 TF meaning that the scorpio will obviously instantly reach 4k with additional power left we can see that in the numbers.
also i didn't say anything about those last two arguments as well. if it could do 1080p on regular X1 then it can do native 4k on the X1X without a need for optimisation.
the problem is t...
People are always being so surprised by this. There is no reason to be surprised when the game is 1080p on the xbox 1. What i wanna see is if other 900p games will follow ubisoft and checkerboard their game
saying that the lineup is awesome doesn't mean he is comparing it to the competition but he is comparing it to what he is used to from previous years and with many people feeling like 2017 was a blast of a year and still feeling that 2018 is awesome then it really is gonna be awesome.
