Who made IGN, the final source for a decision. Their review lately have been half arsad. I do still read their review for EVERY game, but their not as technical and detailed.
You know this makes me think that we might see sequels to this game, I just feel like Activison will try milking this too to improve by each release.
Yea I'm definitely going to wait until the game is a $30 game. Or I'll be getting it from Activision either way, can't wait.
I loved inFamous and crack down as well as GTA IV I'm sure that Prototype is just as good as all three in it's own way.
Yea, with games that have amazing gameplay like Call of Duty, that would be ok, but anything else would rather fail, unless the gameplay is stellar enough to get past the bad physics and graphics.
Great point Godmars. Thinking about Valve, if anyone their a developer that can easily figure out tough systems, they were the dev. that programmed one of the best engines in gaming, the source engine.
You know, the great thing at least is that the first party developers know how to make games for it. Look at Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, LBP, MGS4 and others. They look stunning, only third party is the issue and a lot of time you need the 3rd party, to sell units.
Exactly Reibooi. They wouldn't have developed a console if they knew it was going to be impossible to develop for. I think that Sony should send a few of the people that worked on the design of the console and educate other devs. on how to develop fully for the console.
Indeed mate.
I think there is a fine line for a publisher though on how much time and money they can invest. It better be an amazing game and predict to sell good if you will throw millions of dollars at it. A lot of time these days developers are not willing to take the risk.
Yea, specifically RTS games, it's hard to achieve the same successful result, unless you can plug a keyboard and mouse to the console.
Indeed, Squre is going to have a lot of games in 2009 and 2010.
Aww isn't that cute. Obama being a good daddy with his daughters and encouraging others to be like him. Good man, but he shouldn't get involved with games.
Indeed, cause the fact is, that Soul Calibur has changed up from game to game unlike Mortal Kombat.
I think that MK has been over done too much with out taking any leaps forward.
Can Mortal Kombat stand a chance against Tekken, Soul Calibur and Street Fighter. I'm just not too sure.
This game takes a bit getting use to.
I think that the racing genre is under rated. I loved almost every racing games this gen, but import tunner challenge.
How do you guys not think Niko is amazing. I mean his game did sell 21 million units.
I agree, sure he was epic but not him self.
That's what any game these days is about.
