You really thought so? I mean it was a generic MMO with not a whole lot of depth, but than again I gave up after many hours of play. I also owned it on the Xbox 360, so maybe I didn't have the same feeling towards it as you did. It was my first FF game I've played.
Great job with the article. I do agree on almost all things. Final Fantasy XI while a great game in the FF universe it definitely fell short out of most games in the series.
I think the lack of the story and not being a SP game in anyway just threw me of a bit. I don't think i'll be going with XIV, just because I'm not a fan of MMO's.

This game is simply gorgeous. The trailer was one of the most epic trailer I've seen in gaming. This game is going to be more epic than Shadow of the Colossus I think.
I still stand by saying that the Wii Motion Plus should have launched with the Wii when it first came out.
