I wouldn't count the U.S.A out yet, there is still a good 4 minutes, but it looks like Brazil may take it.

Yea TheHater, I was just celebrating the Brazil goal, so it took me a few seconds to update it. hehe. Go Brazil!

I agree, but at the same time, there is only soo much that's luck if we see two or more goals, it could just be that their actually a good team.

Indeed Deadly, they have come a long way, I still even doubt them, but they keep improving which is good, they might just be a competitor at Fifa 10, we'll see.

ELvin it's now 2-2, so maybe the prediction is not too bad.

I think what it seems like to a young kid is that, well games don't judge me like the society does, so there for they feel more powerful when playing a game, and feel like it's their world and they can make it the way they want to. Just look at RPG's or games like God of War you're a person in control of someone powerful. I think all of us like video games for that simple reason alone, some literally take it to a bigger level.

Great post. I hope you're right. I can see some folks talking to him like a best friend.

Not talking whether it's good or bad, but rather if such thing is good or bad for the humanity. I think it will have social barriers.

Indeed. I will not be picking this piece of shovel ware up.

To add to what you guys are saying. I think in the future the rock music will be ruined even more with these type of games, kids wont learn how to play the guitar and all the creativity will go out of the window. Prince has a point when he said he wants people to learn on their own and play a real guitar.

Yea and sadly the Rock Band franchise is heading into the same direction, milking the franchise with famous bands.

That's the thing bro, if they only make the songs DLC's instead of creating a whole new game for each it would be better for the gamer, and save the developer time in developing, like they have to even try with any GH game since they use the same presentation and graphics for five games.

I dearly LOVE Michael Jackson, and if I see GH: Michael Jackson, I will stop supporting Activision.

The timing isn't too bad though. November is a hot month, that is when parents start spending money to get their kids chrismtas gifts such as video games.

Great point Greywolf. I never thought about it that way, but you're right. There just isn't as many racing hardcore fans as there are those who enjoy the arcady racing games like NFS, Burnout and Midnight Club. So yea SHIFT will have a great chance to succeed in regards to sales, however in quality I think that Forza 3 will definitely be a better title.

From the screenshots though, i must admit SHIFT is looking to bring the best graphics thus far to the NFS series.

Shockey,

It is a whole new development team working on it. The one thing that makes me think it might not do so well is because it's still a short development cycle it had, a year or so, which just isn't too much time.

Great point Duh, it's comes down to the hardcore racing fans when it comes to choosing between the two. I'm not sure how good SHIFT can compare to the sim of the Forza franchise, considering how I've never heard of the dev. in charge of developing SHIFT.

I agree. There is at leas a 250k of dedicated NFS fans that will be purchasing the game. The other people will have to be convinced to buy this game. Although, I don't think many look at games as each others competition.

I agree Deadly, easily my favorite NFS game. Most wanted felt really good, open world. reminds me of Midnight Club LA very much.

I'm a HUGE fan of Need for Speed games, bad or good I have fun with them. I do have to admit Pro Street was horrid and almost made me stop playing NFS games.

Meh the last nintendo system to succeed to the hardcore if I'm not mistaken is the N64.
