Wii U is more powerfull than XBOX 360 and PS3 when used properly, but problem is that Modern engines like Unreal 4 are focused on even stronger hardware PS4 and XBOX one have. I am Wii U/PC user and I hope those two will satisfy my gaming needs just fine.
My wallet is thin, I will probably take advantage of this promotion.

XBOX one and PS4, won't have that much exclusives in the first several months of 2014 where Wii U will be full of them. exclusives = system sellers.

Why do people want Nintendo Exclusive games on PS4 yet nobody ever mentioned Sony Exclusives on Wii U. I want to play Ratchet and Clank on Wii U? Is there a chance for that. Those posts are just here to provoke Nintendo fans.

Lol 300 GBP console just to play Nintendo games? I've bought Wii U to play 3rd party games with new controller as well as Nintendo games.

Yeah, not even price can save them. Problem is they don't have GOOD 3rd party games at all. Those "bad ports" did more damage to Wii U than anything. It would be better if those games haven't been released at all.
If Wii U had 6 x 1.24 cores and 4 GB Ram, it would be different story. We would be probably playing Metro Last Light, Battlefield, and other TOP titles on Wii U.
But No, Nintendo made HD console for THEIR titles. They did not care about new EA engine, new Unreal 4 engine etc..
No console can. PS4 will also miss many games (at the start)

New IP's are good but only if they release sequels of already established IP's.
Anything more powerfull than last gen consoles is next gen console. Also, it's not all about power. It's about games + experience.
Wii U has weaker CPU than PS3 and XBOX360 but it's very different archtecture -> GPGPU means that Graphics Processing Unit can run some jobs usually done by CPU on non-GPGPU arch. It has 2 different RAM's 1. 2 GB slow DDR3 ram (1 GB for games) and 32 MB extremely fast and expensive EDRAM. Wii U is VERY VERY similar to XBOX 360 but it has slower CPU and VERY MUCH MORE powerfull GPU that can compensate CPU weakness.
Nintendo has CONSOLE attitude where Sony and M$ got PC attitude, get it?
