Wii Mini is OK, DUMB move was to remove WiFi (Internet, Virtual Console) from it. That was a horrible move.
First of all I am Wii U owner and this Jap. just don't get it. Nintendo does not OWN gaming world. If you want 3rd party games mr Iwata from BIG devs like EA, you MUST negotiate with them. (Take it or leave it) approach could work back then in NES days when Nintendo was only good console, but today..it's 2014 like guy from post #1 said.
The reason for bad sales = Unproven Gamepad + Bad Specs (no modern game engines) + no 3rd party games + expensive.
NFS Most Wanted U was great, better than XBOX 360 and PS3? Gimped Online? Who played NFS online anyway....

New Super Mario Bros Wii, Mario Kart are among 5-6 Wii games worth buying, and when you have narrow selection without any 3rd party games then it's logical they will sell more.
I am Wii U/PC owner and I must say that Wii U has no games whatsoever... Pikmin 3? bah... Wonderful 101? mm nooo. What else? inferior version of ACIV, Watch Dogs, COD Ghosts? What were they thinking?

I agree with you. They can't sell a console by making dozens of mario games. Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, NSMBU, Mario land, Sonic Lost Worlds are games for young kids. They still don't have nothing like Killzone, Gears of War, Uncharted, Forza Motorsport NOTHING! KIDS don't have $$$ to buy Wii U and adults are buying PS4 and XBOX one (soon)

I believe they have optimized Witch Dogs, they had plenty of time. Why do you think that they have optimized Watch Dogs for PS4? At least it will give us descent overview about Wii U power.
Nintendo should be ashamed of 3rd party releases. What were they thinking? Wii U? Does U mean Ubisoft since it's the only good 3rd party Wii U dev.
