People will only agree with reviews if it suits them.
If Knack didn't get good scores, then it didn't get good scores. Don't make a fuss about it. People only seem to care about scores when they are low and start saying they're full of s*** and it's biased. Then when a game they like gets a good score they spout how good the game is and start showing scores.
I remember playing the demo a lot as a kid. I could never find it in game stores, didn't really know where to look as a kid.
Even though I never got to experience the full game as a kid, I still really enjoyed playing that demo and couldn't stop playing it.
I managed to buy the game off Ebay 2 years ago. It was in mint condition and cost me £65. It was totally worth the price and I played the hell out of the game. Brings back a lot of awesome mem...
That's great for shareholders, but it doesn't affect my decision on getting both consoles O.o
As long as I still have 4oD and NOW TV, I will be fine.
I didn't like the idea of Kinect always being there, but the ability to switch between games and apps is definitely a good idea.
On a night, I will usually be playing something, but when I have my dinner, I want to watch something and usually have to turn off my game and load up 4oD, YT or NOW TV. Now, I can just switch between whichever without any problems.
The Last of Us was a great game and did look amazing, but I'm pretty sure it had frame rate issues in some areas. Again, I can't remember if I had them, but I remember hearing other people had them.
This is why we need new consoles, even though the current consoles can achieve amazing graphics, it still struggles at displaying them at a steady frame rate.
I'm looking forward to the new consoles, being able to see amazing graphics, physics, AI and ...
Really looking forward to this game. Zoo Tycoon was near enough the only game I played as a kid. Played the expansion as well, which was awesome.
I played a bit of Zoo Tycoon 2, it was good, but not as good as the first one.
Scribblenauts is on 3DS and PC.
Lego City is on PC.
W101 and Pikmin are only on Wii U.
Wind Waker is a remake.
Rayman was delayed and sold on multiple platforms.
NFS is on multiple platforms.
Trine 2 is on multiple platforms.
Puddle is on multiple platforms.
MSF1&2 are also on 3DS.
Ducktales is on multiple platforms and is a remake.
The VC is a good idea, but you have to pay extra just to use it on yo...
I think it will be, but it's going to take more than a few Mario games to win more people over.
The console is very interesting, but I'm more interested in different titles. I bought it for Monster Hunter, due to being a huge fan of the franchise, so I pretty much buy any platform MH is on just for that game.
After playing it MH, I didn't even turn it on and it's turning into my Wii, where it's just collecting dust until something amazing ...
In the UK, games usually sell at around £40, but this depends on the game.
Popular games, like CoD, GTA, Battlefield, etc. sell for like £45, but you can find them a little cheaper if you look around. A lot of other games sell for around £36 to £38.
I'm so used to paying that much, that it just feels normal. I don't go out and buy every game at launch like I used to because it's expensive and wasteful. I buy one game or even no...
I've played CoD since MW1. That game and MW2 were the best, for me. WaW was pretty good, but didn't play it as much. BO1 was pretty good as well, played the hell out of that, mainly because of the Zombies...
MW3 was really disappointing, I played through the campaign and I usually finish it and then play through it again collecting intels and doing extras, I didn't do that.
BO2, haven't even played the campaign and not much online either.
Capcom need to think about when to release games though. I have a list of games coming out next year on the Xbox One:
Titanfall
The Crew
The Elder Scrolls Online
Destiny
Watch Dogs
Dragon Age 3 Inquisition
Tom Clancy's The Division
Dying Light
Mad Max
The Evil Within
The Witcher 3
Wolfenstein: The New Order
There are some games coming out on the PS4 as well. For me, mo...
I don't think it's just saving for next gen consoles, there are a lot of other interesting games to get during this half of the year, this game most likely got overshadowed by them.
In August we had:
Tales of Xillia
Payday 2
Saints Row IV
XCOM Declassified
Splinter Cell Blaclist
FFXIV: A Realm Reborn
Killer Is Dead
Lost Planet 3
September:
Diablo 3
Rayman...
They tend to be quite blind. I don't think Lost Planet was a massive franchise to begin with. I only played the demo's of the first two. They were alright, I will probably pick them both up though. Will probably pick up LP3 when it's a bit cheaper.
They are trying to target the western audience with what they think the western audience enjoys, but they should stick to what they know.
The last game I played by Capcom that was good was Monster Hunte...
The problem with stores that only sell games and consoles, is that people go in there just for a game or a console.
When you walk into a supermarket for a game, you most likely won't just walk out with a game. You might get a snack or two, a drink, etc. This is where supermarkets get there money from, they can afford to keep certain products low and rely on other products to get them more money. Then you get tricked into the buy 1 get 1 half price "deals".
I only heard about this game a few days ago, I checked it out and I liked the idea. It looked like a mixture of Diablo-esque State of Decay.
When it released, I saw the reviews were around average and was a bit put off.
I think I will try it out though. Maybe it's that type of game. You either love it or hate it.
It's good that this game is doing well, but I had my account accessed by some Gil sellers. My account was locked, I contact customer support through chat and they wanted me to scan either a driver's license or passport to prove who I am and send it to them.
I don't like that idea at all. For one, they don't know who I am to begin with, so how would my passport prove who I am? They should use a different method on unlocking your account.
My cha...
It's like in Metro Last Light. There is a section in the game where a women is showering and another is taking a bath, but it's all hidden behind curtains in a room you can't access, so you can't see anything.
Like a week or so after the game was released, there were pictures of these women fully nude. You could see from top to bottom of both of these women. There is no reason to even have those textures.
I'm wondering if those scenes and ...
I've just read where it says "best approach" and they don't say their policy is the best approach, why else would the title only quote "best approach"?
It says:
"And maybe we're taking a slightly different approach to other platforms but we think this is the best approach to getting the most developers and the best games on the platform."
They're saying the way they are allowing indie developers t...
I played quite a bit of Frontier years ago, managed to get to the point where you fight the Espinas. The game is really tough, soloing just isn't an option. It also didn't help trying to translate everything in the game.
Luckily, there was an English guild on one of the servers, so I joined them. They were very helpful and we did quite a lot quests together.
My gripe with the game though is the outdated graphics and the fact that it's got the same...
Rockstar do this, everyone has a fit over it.
Sony do it, it's fine and dandy.
