i gotta agree EA would sell more games on the PS3 if they didnt make junk.

read my post properly and you'll see I think its a good thing if its delayed, because for what is suppose to be one of few games that PS3 has going for it in 2007 gets a 5.5 and 6 that is embarassing

hopefully the game will see an improvement with the rumoured delay, as it has turned out to be an embarassment for the PS3 especially the way fanboys hyped up how good its gonna be now they just look like fools, lesson is that graphics dont equal gameplay.

There's many ways of getting more space out of a disc and if it is absolutely essential for it to be on one dvd then developers can work hard to squeeze every bit out of the format. It's not the end of the world ;) and in many cases if there is absolutely no way to jam all of the game in the disc you can look simply using multiple discs if that's what is required but I do unde...
It was apparent to everyone that the PS3 was going to be dead last if they didnt try something to stimulate sales. You can argue about 'smoke and mirrors' and how it really wasnt a price cut, but the PS3 is better value now than it was a month ago and that cant be a bad thing, it might give it a fighting chance

this seems pretty run of the mill, they probably want to eventually move to 45nm so it drastically reduces manufacturing costs so they can reduce price point at the same time making a profit on the hardware. Maybe they eventually will redesign the 360 to make it smaller like a slimline ps2, who knows what the future holds.

Remember that 2004 was an amazing year to be a gamer and had many anticipated titles for all platforms (Half Life 2 for example, i've never seen a PC game come close to how excited everyone was when it was released) and Halo 2 did considerably well along with other big franchises. I believe that the preorders for Halo 3 already surpass the preorders for the sequel (I know they have at my local gaming store) and that it'll be a great night for everyone who waits in line for the midnight releas...
100% agreed themart, the 360 has an amazing lineup this year and UT3 will fit into 2008 fine, especially considering UT3 will have to compete with Halo 3 on XBL when it releases so its probably better if it is released later so that people may be more receptive to something new.
