only word to explain this game is 'incredible'
maybe if i had an IMAX screen i'd like 4 player offline co-op, but sadly i'm stuck with my 32inch hdtv :(
lol@nasim over 4 million pre-orders of Halo 3 say your wrong
most people seem to be taking the news pretty well, which is nice. I'll be happy to play it when its done, nothing can be done about it.
People are making a big deal about Halo 3 co-op because it is massively popular, while HAZE is an unproven franchise that has nothing on the Halo fanbase. People want Halo 3 news, not HAZE news.
I think it's great both games have 4 player online co-op, but who really cares about 4 player offline co-op??? playing co-op with 4 tiny squares on my tv sounds like a crap idea to me.
any supposed journalist who says 'M$' loses any credibility and respect from me.
lol @ the Sony fanboys, you guys are so blind to anything negative about the PS3, its a fact that nearly all multi-platform titles perform worse on PS3 than 360 because of the different architecture i'm sure Rockstar is having problems getting to run decently because the PS3 is so different from PC and 360. IT'S THE TRUTH
If its a multi-platform problem, it would be an issue with the PS3 as it is the more difficult machine to get anything running decently on it, as it is the build that is lagging behind the 360 version and many multiplatform titles experience frame rate issues on the PS3 (Madden for instance).
Shadowrun had potential at a lower price point I believe in the US market, but I agree that it was priced too high and that really hurt people's perception of it, MS handled the pricing of the game poorly. It would of been cool if it was $30 to $40 and if they allowed you to download the game from the marketplace for cheaper. It's a fun game, it just hasnt got enough meat to warrant a full priced game
its better than nothing but more needs to be done to get this system cheaper in all territories, not just the United States
ahh that's cool to know ^^ if there was a magazine named that in my country it would be a tabloid
yeah its actually pretty impressive lol, 'the hollywood reporter' doesnt exactly sound like a bastion of quality journalism
It's nice that Sony made it relatively easy to update the HDD by yourself, apparently the 360 one is a lot tougher to upgrade yourself (i.e. with unofficial hdd)
PSN content is a joke..... try using the Australian PSN store the best thing on it is the 8 minute Die Hard 4 trailer
i'd like to see the title go on the PS3 if its a good conversion, but the PS3 does have a poor record of ports from the 360 and PC running like crap.....
well he's just being honest, everyone is worried about how the PS3 is doing atm, nobody thinks it's doing great or as well as it should.
no Quake, Tribes, Privateer, Elite or Kings Quest :(
Virtua Fighter is the king of 3d fighting games, Tekken never came close to the classics Sega and Am2 put out
Australia is far from Sony territory, even though they spin it that way there are far more Wii's and 360s out there
wtf this is awful I was really excited for it too :(
not everyone is American and pays cheap prices for games ;) paying over $100 for PS3 games is common in Australia
I think Pachter is right, but I do acknowledge it as speculation and we wont know the truth unless someone from rockstar speaks up. It is well known that the PS3 is more difficult to develop on and this is only compounded in regards to multiplatform titles.
Pachter says that the reason a 360 version cant be released earlier is because of possible contractual obligations Rockstar has to Sony, which is entirely plausible considering the history the two companies have.
