The PS3 needs any help it can get

the article states that it is their goal for a simultaneous release, it is not fact. that said it would be nice for it to release everywhere simultaneously

i'm sure you need those 10 gb of sound so you can enjoy playing Heavenly Sword in 11 different languages, that REALLY raises the quality of your experience. The game is not a system seller, no matter what you say it's fact the only people who will buy a PS3 for it are hardcore sony fandroids.
I'll finally take FF7 out of my PS3 when Warhawk or Rachet and Clank is released, now there's some REAL games

great points, no matter how 'theoretically' powerful the PS3 is according to Sony Marketing execs and fandriods it wont ever reach it thanks to poor design.
Same old story with Sony, it's a repeat of PS2, impressive figures theoretically but in reality mediocre peformance
"ps3 is so inferior that 360 has a triple cell processor and ps3 has a seven" your crude and ignorant comparison shows you know absolutely nothing about the CELL Processor or the Xbox 360
The 360 version is the superior version (as with nearly every third party multiplatform title game now and in the future) and the sales figures reflect this with the success of madden sales on the 360 compared to the mediocre performance of the PS3 version that only runs at 30 frames a second max and suffers from performance issues.
Lets look at the FACTS
FACT: EA simply could not get the PS3 version of Madden to run smoothly at 60 FPS, while they could on the Xbox 360.
WHY? because the PS3 is poorly designed as a gaming system and consumers are paying for it. For all the supposed power and impressive figures of the CELL processor the thing is just not great for games. The console has a lot of potential, but the fact is that nearly every third party game suffers because of Sony's poor design...
