A fantastic memo from Don Matrick, he is a true visionary and is exactly the kind of leader the Xbox 360 needs to fully realize its future prospects and to continue to drive its amazing success. Along with heavy hitters such as award winning marketer Jeff Bell and E&D visionary Robbie Bach, the Xbox 360 is undoubtedly positioned to continue to be the market leader this generation.
I feel sorry for these fandroids, they're so delusional. I'll explain why your reasoning is flawed
Sure the US government is a large customer, however out of 100 million users it is only a small percentage of that base, as the US government. Only around 23 million people work in governments in the United States, that is combining Federal, State and Local governments, and all those people do not have a computer or out of the millions of computers governments use in the United S...
I've come from working with IT and simply put people prefer the Windows OS and GUI over the competitors. "Mom and Pops" want familiarity and the last thing they need to happen is to be confused by switching to another style of Operating System.
I have seen countless people make switch to Linux or an alternative OS and then switch back to Windows within a month because they find out that because nerds on the internet who trump Linux/MacOSX act like the grass is greene...
Windows Vista is selling great, already hitting the 100 million user milestone. Vista is the most advanced OS ever created and its combination of functionality and advanced technology is paralleled. As for criticism of the OS Vista has made significant progress in the past 12 months and I have been able to get every single game and program working on it flawlessly.
Also I do remember clearly the response from the IT community about the switch to XP over 2k, most sys admins were...
Zhuk's comments are not spam, they are logical, reasonable and objective unlike the endless nonsense from the fandroid hivemind which is all subjective and emotionally driven.
I would like to take some time to thank all of my supporters and fans, thank you for the steady supply of bubbles you give me and for all the fan mail. I recently learned that there are quite a few fandroids out there as well who are Zhuk fans and I would like to thank you for your support too even if you...
well if you fandroids knew anything about my comments on the PSP, its my favourite handheld ever made because of custom firmware and homebrew, I bought one the day it was released. A great machine for retro gaming and emulation, its also the best piece of equipment to play PS1 games on, which look fantastic on the LCD screen.
Also the PSPs games library has gotten a lot better in the past 12 months and provides to my tastes as a gamer more than Nintendo's DS
Most PS3 games in Australia cost more than their 360 counterparts, also if you go to where the games are usually the cheapest (a store called JB Hifi usually has the best retail deals) the 360 gets far more bargains than the PS3 does.
I'm sure eventually they will be able to get better deals for PS3 games coming along in the future, but right now buying PS3 games usually is the more expensive way to go
The reason our games cost so much is because they have been ...
Simply put the Xbox 360 version of DMC4 will be the premier version with it looking and playing better than the PS3 version and also combined with the Xbox 360s award winning controller and features I have no doubt that this will be another AAA title in the Xbox 360s stellar lineup
As usual with the PS3 you're paying more for less, I bet the executives at Sony are sitting in their underground lair having a good laugh at all the suckers out there who will buy a glorified Blu Ray...
If any list like this is going to be taken seriously, I expect it to at least be comrpised of 90% Xbox 360 and Games For Windows titles. Only these two platforms provide gamers with AAA titles of the highest quality, while the Wii and PS3 have only been able to serve up garbage that doesn't sell and shovelware
This sounds like a great new product for the Windows Mobile series of products, I know I will look into updating to something like this when it hits the market
all you fandroids make me laugh, the only people who care about the hd format war is Sony fanboys because they need something to make them feel better about their stagnating console, enjoy watching your films because you have no games to play.
I was nearly in stitches reading all the comments from Sony fanboys who thought I had ever written anything about that format war, thanks for the laughs boys.
This will undoubtedly be a historic keynote from one of the worlds most powerful and successful captains of industry. Hopefully for us Xbox 360 enthusiasts there will be a surprise announcement or two, but I will be content just to hear Bill part with some words of wisdom at his last CES keynote
I think this is shaping up to be another AAA title for the Xbox 360 and the best Turok to date. I don't think I have been this impressed with a Turok game since Turok 2 which made use of the RAM expansion cart to deliver quite an impressive leap in graphical fidelity
Only Xbox 360 provides gamers with the premier version of Turok which will undoubtedly be yet another AAA title to the Xbox 360s library. We all know that no matter what "Propaganda" (perfect name for this situation) tells the fandroids the Xbox 360 version will look and play better thanks to its superior hardware and award winning features.
If you want the best Turok experience, you're going to have to Jump In
I thoroughly enjoyed Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142, they are great games. I hope with the release of Battlefield 3 that DICE will have learned their lessons and stop releasing games that are very buggy, it took a long time for BF2 to mature
A real shame about the controls, but I have read that if you use a PS2 controller with your Wii (through a gamecube controller converter) it helps a lot, so at least you can kind of get the same feel as you had with the original NiGHTS with the revolutionary 3d Controller.
Also of note to NiGHTS fans is that SEGA is actually updating the original game for the PS2 as part of its Japanese SEGA Ages collection and it is looking fantastic
Zhuk has never cared for the HD format war, I had a real good laugh reading all the fandroids comments who thought I have ever written a word in favour of any format, there were about 20 people waiting for me to comment. Also, Zhuk cannnot comment when he is banned from posting in most news sections because the fandroids keep on reporting my comments as spam, I am limited to a few articles I am able to continue my mission of bringing a fair and balanced viewpoint to N4G.

I definitely would get this for my PSP, would be able to carry around a lot of PS1 ISOs on that
