Backwards Compatibility is a strange thing, people love to have it as a feature but no one hardly uses the thing. Personally the best thing for Microsoft to do is release one more major update with the games that people really want (i.e. the classics) instead of wasting time on releasing updates of shovelware. They have done a great job so far, there's only a few to go and we should be set.

Fallout 3 is shaping up to be my most anticipated title of this year and will undoubtedly be a fantastic game on your system of choice, especially after the great jobs that Bethesda did with Oblivion on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
I really, really hope they have a huge Brotherhood of Steel quest line, kind of like the Fighter's Guild or Mages Guild in Oblivion but with a more interactive and fleshed out storyline.
