Dear fans of the Sony persuasion,

This is a Gamer Zone and Zhuk is capable of conducting a civil and respectful conversation and I am more than allowed to provide an opinion that is from an Xbox 360 enthusiast rather than a PlayStation enthusiast if I am respectful and mature.

I am afraid you won't drag me down with you in the Gamer Zone, sorry guys.

lots of love,
Zhuk

all you fandroids make me laugh, Sony is the king of making crappy hardware products, every single Sony product I have purchased has been faulty in some respect, be it faulty dvd lasers in the PS2 which broke down within 6 months, abysmal build quality of the PS1 which didn't even last 12 months and my first PSP had a disgusting amount of dead pixels. Then you have the PS3 which has Blu-Ray lasers dying left, right and centre.

If you're really looking for dodgy products, buy Sony...

Kotaku is nothing but the tabloid journalists of the gaming world, I don't think anyone should take what they say seriously

As far as I know EB games in Australia just sends any 360s in need of repair to the MS repair centre. That said, the company had been offering its own extended warranty program in competition with Microsoft's for some time, so perhaps that is where the argument has started.

Overall I think something has to be done and both companies are going to need to work together on this to fix it if it's true, its bad business for everyone involved

This is great news, I am looking forward to that interview, Jeff Bell is another one of my favourite people on the Xbox 360 team, he's an amazing guy

I bought the game day one, a fantastic racing experience with great singleplayer and multiplayer with some of the best graphics ever seen in a game. I'll buy the DLC the day it comes out without question.

As far as I know they just send any RROD 360s straight back to Microsoft anyway, so I don't know if this rumour holds any water

Jeff Bell is an award winning marketing guru and genius and a great asset to the Xbox team as Corporate VP of Global Marketing. I for one agree with his sentiments of a "Wii60" approach, that many people that have bought a Wii will eventually go for an Xbox 360 as their gaming tastes become more sophisticated and as the Xbox 360 reaches a mass market price point the appeal to Wii owners will grow even larger.

Major Nelson has become a major gaming icon and celebrity in the gaming industry, I personally enjoy his podcasts and watch Major's Minute every week, he has become a great asset to the Xbox team as the face of Xbox 360 and Xbox LIVE.

Sony and Nintendo would do well to replicate the kind of success that Major Nelson has pioneered with his role in the gaming community

Zhuk fully supports these changes and hopefully it will be successful in destroying the fandroid hivemind and the Sony menace that plagues this site. My days as a staunch advocate for providing a fair, balanced, logical, objective and ultimately alternative to the dominance of the fandroids on this site may be numbered if civility can reign once again.

I support these changes, I hope that they are most successful. If logical, reasonable and objective debate come back to this site again I will end my crusade against the Sony fandroid menace and its hivemind mentality.

Award winning marketing genius/guru Jeff Bell (Corporate VP for Global Marketing, Interactive Entertainment Business, E&D division) put it best when he said that "we wouldn't trade places with anyone" and he's absolutely right, the Xbox 360 is in a enviably strong position right now. But it must make the right decisions to move forward and this is a crucial time for the Xbox 360s future. With the high caliber of diverse and creative talent heading up the Xbox team these days I ...

Call of Duty 4 owes all of this great success to the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 gave Infinity Ward the power and tools they needed to fully realize their creative visions and create a true next generation experience.

Also looking at software sales, the Xbox 360 SKU of CoD4 significantly outsold the PS3 and PC SKUs, Infinity Ward are undoubtedly great fans of the Xbox 360 and are enthusiastic to work on the Xbox 360 on future games, perhaps exclusively since they enjoy the Xbox 360...

Big Huge Games are one of the most talented studios out there, probably one of the smartest moves THQ has made by snapping up these guys

Xbox LIVE is undoubtedly the premier online gaming service, offering consumers many AAA and award winning features to its consumers. Nobody beats Xbox LIVE and Xbox LIVE Arcade at the depth, breadth and consistent quality of the downloadable content on these services, PSN is garbage and doesn't even compare and the Wii's online service is nothing but a joke compared to the brilliance and unparalleled quality of Xbox LIVE and Xbox LIVE Arcade.

If you want the best onling gaming ...

Great news, Australia was one of the few countries where the Master System destroyed the NES so if they bring some of the great classics onto VC I might go grab a Wii
