yes SOCOM isnt SOCOM if your not playing with youre clan, people are forgetting this is a beta people are trying to get good with the controls and less worried about team tactics atm, and once the game comes out and everyone gets together with there socom buddies you will be destroying the other team filled with players trying to act like there playing CoD.
I don't agree with keeping SOCOM 4 100% the same as older titles. Zipper said in an interview back when people were just finding out slant six was doing confrontation that they wouldnt be doing a new SOCOM till they could bring a next gen experience to SOCOM so im confused why people are so shocked some things have changed. obviously its not all changed for the better but there are alot of new stuff i welcome with open arms.

this game is going to be great for both crowds
i just renewed PS+ for a year today. I went over to my buddies and played for about an hour and it sold me i WANT to play more SOCOM. looking forward to the changes hope they bring back some old modes eventually.

im counting down till tuesday when i get to download the beta on PS+. im still a bit nervous about all the changes im hearing about, but i know it will be a quality game and the one thing i can count on from zipper is great maps as long as all the maps are great im msure ill love the game regardless if it plays like older socom or not.
i will rent this due to the fact that i have a Blockbuster 1-at-a-time pass but the real question is will I finish it?

Victory dances FTW! but being an old school SOCOM player that likes to show his age i still prefer dancing over a corpse the old fashion way by using the left/right D-pad to bust out that sweet elbow lean dance moves.
Cant wait to play this Day 1 im still bummed about the lack of modes but i know ill get my money worth either way, and im still hopeful they'll bring back demolition/Escort and all the other modes that made SOCOM great through a patch or even some DLC.
my favorite part of angry birds is the 30+ seconds it takes between bird shots. rest of the game is garbage.
@slavish id like to point out how the first xbox stopped having support after what like 3-4 years and the ps2 has games still coming out its like 10 years into its cycle so please dont forget how fast xbox will drop its millions and millions of loyal customers for their next big thing.
considering you never hear news about all the great games coming out for xbox and every article is about sales, sales, sales, i dont see how this is news worth reading. and i already know to xbox fans sales is all they got but who cares? when i buy a game the last thing i think about is how many copies has it sold same goes with my prefrence for tooth paste and a million other things.

do these numbers count all the xbox's that get replaced from shotty hardware or is it merely sales? considering im on my 4th xbox and my ps3 is my main console i can understand the numbers.

how can devs concentrate more on team work? that is completely community based. its not the maps fault theres tons of spots on both maps where strategies can be implemented to crush the opposing team. ive been playing the beta with and without my socom clan since the beta started and by far its a better experience playing with my friends just like any other socom title.
