@grzajabarkus ill LOL at that! during the beta and the first two days i saw close to no lag while playing online. the game mechanics are the same as single-play. a 4 is just rediculous and you know it.
how would you rate the 3d for this game? i have a 3d tv arriving on my doorstep in the nenxt few days and really want to check it out.

my favorite feature is the ultra fast respawn it gives me the freedom to really go balls to the wall where most games penalize you for death this game encourages it.
what a stupid article if it was microsoft that sued Geohot instead of sony the same thing would have happened to them. what part of xbl being a paid service would stop it from being screwed with by a bunch of hackers? if amazon can go down for a day im sure same could go for XBL.

man im stoked to hear this, i own the 50" sony dlp with all the optical drive problems and sony already dropped $1000 replacing all the internals of my set and the same thing happened again in less than 3 months, so SONY offered me KDL55EX720 (3d LED/LCD) for the super low price of 410 dollars. i thought they were nuts since the tv is at best buy on sale right now for 2149, but i guess its smarter to sell me a tv at a loss than drop another 1000 into my tv that will probably break again....

i took a minute to read all the stuff there changing in the game and its starting to sound like their on the right track.
being a huge FFXI fan i gave this game a shot and bought it day 1 and i only got my character to 20 before i quit. it will still be awhile before i give the game a try again but im a little more optimistic about the game.

i really need to go out and buy vanquish ive loved everything platinum games has done so far and was disapointed that my local blockbuster didnt have it for rent. every time some one mentions how good it is i want it just a little more.
but on topic i really enjoy tps over fps especially when it comes to action/adventure games but when it comes to run and gun respawn i like FPS better. i might be a little bias since the first game i played for houndreds of hours was SOCOM.
whah whah whah why isnt this socom 2 HD... my poor little socom vet heart, i think im going to sit around all day on the forums and post the same whining crybaby crap all day about it on every socom article since i cant enjoy the beta full heartedly since i cant get past the idea that this is socom 4 and not socom 2.

socom 4 is more authentic than older games its hard to wrap my brain around the idea that the people that found socom 1&2 so challenging and demanding of team work are not up for the challenge this time around. adapt and quit whining old socom vets are some of the biggest whiners ive ever heard of. ive been playing since socom 1 and i like the game the way it is( i do wish the old modes come back though). why not include next gen features to a game so inovative? is keeping it the same gam...
@mysticstrummer if you want to see teamwork its only a clan away or you could just drop in while me and my buddies are playing.
the developers in a podcast just challenged all the vets to go play socom 2 again and see if it holds up to memory. quit living in the past if your in a clan and you all communicate SOCOM 4 is a very tactical game, plus in the podcast they mention they will be adjusting/adding tons of features i.e. camera distance, grenade arches, gun going hot, d-pad lean, and many more. plus senior community manager Jeremy Dunham hinted at Zipper bringing back old game modes. things are only looking up.
