Really? seriously? that's just going too far... the game looks good, visually, maybe even great, but "better then most movies" no, just no, and I'm not going to let it go as purely an objective opinion, it just isn't true.
I'll admit the Nintendo fanatics often try to put a positive spin on most of Nintendo's missteps, but you are just as bad as they are for trying to pin Nintendo as some kind of bumbling, inept wannabe game devs who just can't do right from wrong.

Well I highly doubt BTS will bring about anything positively game changing, but lets jut wait and see before praising it or damning it.

Campaigning against something like Women having the vote, a thing that is mutually beneficial and possible to opt out of, is in my opinion ridiculous. The same goes for those who demand censorship because they feel "offended" as long as what they feel offended by is not being forced upon them I say they should be aloud to vocalise their displeasure but not attempt to dictate what they feel is and is not acceptable to the masses.
True, but would anyone really want such negative press? over sexualisation of female character and other misrepresentation of women is a big issue lately :/

I'm not saying people don't have a right to feel offended or anything, but I think it's going a bit far when a game is getting bashed left and right for not trying to appease everybody.

You mite not like the overly sexualised designs of these or any other female characters but that doesn't make them wrong, you don't have any right to damn the designs or question the artists artistic merit. Sorry but Shenmue has way more actual player interaction going than anything I've seen in Heavy Rain or Beyond: Two Souls.
Beyond: Two Souls isn't the evolution of gaming it's just the next logical step for point and click adventure games.

Well, I've seen enough gameplay, trailers, lets plays and video reviews regarding Heavy Rain to know it's not for me, and I'm not the kind of person who believes they actually need to have played a game before they can judge it.
That's not saying Heavy Rain is bad mind you, I just know I'm not the target demographic. No all I'm trying to discuss here (without insulting anybody hopefully) is just how much of a game needs to be interactive before it star...

Yeah, it mite be the fact that I haven't seen enough of the actual game :/ all I know about Beyond: Two Souls has come from watching the 35 minuet gameplay video, but you would think 35 minuets of anything is enough to get the gist of it right? To be honest I'm OK with the character designs since it is fantasy after all, I'm uncertain as to weather that's a good thing or not but that's just my opinion. I can however understand why other people are upset about the over sexualisation of the two female characters, but I think it's unfair to accuse every developer who uses big breasted or half naked women for doing it in order to either oppress women or simply out of ignorance.

If I don't like the game that doesn't immediately label me a hater, Im not hating on it, Im not saying other people shouldn't play it because it lacks any slither of entertainment value, I just don't understand how a game that is effectively a CGI movie with QTE's implemented for story telling purposes is suddenly viewed as "ground breaking".
