I hope they do bring it back I really do, the only problem with that though is Capcom have apparently been breathing in their own farts for so long they've gone a bit bananas and decided to go about butchering all their decent IP's.
How is Molyneux credible? I'm not trying to instigate an argument here but honestly the guy is incredibly overrated.
Nintendo aren't making the best decisions to appeal to the "core gamer" whoever that may be, but they are keeping their consumers happy and at least they are still making dedicated gaming machines instead of multi media entertainment devices.
I'm not gonna disagree since you're entitled to your opinion but, I found it to be very disappointing, it just wasn't Dino Crisis... Hence why it sold poorly and Capcom haven't made another since.
The RE inspired formula with more action worked really well, if they had stuck with that we mite have gotten a Dino Crisis in a smiler playing style to RE4 which in my opinion would have been pretty damn awesome.
Dino Crisis 3? seriously? that game was so bad it killed the franchise! should have gone with DC 1 or 2 IMO.

The Vita is a tough buy right now IMO, if you can get one for a good price and you know there are at least 4 or 5 must have games your after then go for it, but if there's nothing you're really interested in then you're effectively getting a $100+ brick, at least until something you actually want gets released.

Surely this is BS, Squenix have made some offensively stupid decisions since their merger but this would be company suicide, there is simply too much competition in the smartphone sector, so much so that even if they created the spiritual successor to "FF7" it would probably fall due to the sheer amount of other games pushing it out of the lime light and into obscurity.

Great article, I love the Project Zero franchise and have been lucky enough to have played all of them to completion so far.
I really hope the franchise makes a comeback this coming gen, it's the best survival horror out there right now IMO so I would hate to see it fall by the way side due to so called AAA games blocking it.

It's bound to effect sales negatively to some extent but I doubt it will be substantial.
Many gamers are ready to upgrade, those who aren't and have just purchased a new PS3/360 will follow suit in due time, the big question is pricing, that is what will effect sales more than anything else.

Come to think of it I've played through quite a few games 5 or more times, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Gunstar Heroes, Guardian Heroes, Dino Crisis, Metal Gear Solid 1,2,3, Operation Winback, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Project Zero 2 Crimson butterfly, Way of the Samurai 2, Devil May Cry 1 & 3, Resident Evil 1 & 4.
