Considering the main characters unique abilities it will be very interesting seeing how "it" comes into play ;)
Awesome, really interested to see how the game plays :)
All you need too know is that A:CM and Gearbox's passion for the project was grossly misrepresented by, some people didn't mind being lied to but most are pissed.
Japan I love you and all but seriously I have to wonder WTF sometimes.
Damnit media! will you ever learn?
I'm a big JRPG fan yet I've never played a Tales game :/ I really should try see what all fuss is about.
So you don't mind your personal information being exploited for corporate gain?
I'm sorry but I really think people should be more concerned about this :/
@BLKxSEPTEMBER
Of course I know my personal information is being collected elsewhere, it doesn't mean I have to like it. The difference with MS is that you'll be openly inviting these companies to collect information on you from directly within your home.
...
Is "don't say anything stupid" part of the plan? because I think that should be part of the plan.
@NioRide
Me hypocritical? Not at all. My "freedom of speech "remark was aimed at you attempting to dismiss a point of view that conflicts with your own.
Activision can do what they want, but Godlovesgamers isn't the first person to suggest there's a possible hidden agenda in COD games and I'm sure he won't be the last.
As for my stance? I don't have one, American politics isn't of great concern to me, but I d...
Well I guess it could be viewed as offensive, I mean Russia and America aren't honestly on the best of terms even to this day, so games like COD could be viewed by some as a politically fuelled statement with a hidden agenda such as attempting to rally a countries populous against another through painting them as the villain.
Then again it could just be harmless.
Wow, so much for freedom of speech huh?
The guy makes a valid point, there's just too much Russian hating going on, well in COD at least.
Games have always been art as far as I'm concerned, the very fact we'd actually need someone from outside of the video games medium to confirm such is a little disconcerting, but I guess it is another voice in our favour.
Anyway, hopefully his game will turn out well and put all those nay sayers in their place.
@mattdillahunty
Name calling? No I was just stating a fact.
OK then how about this. Convoluted is a word most often used by those who lack the mental capacity to comprehend complex story telling, MGS4 was made by the Japanese, and their method of story telling is different from what we are used to in the west, combine that with the fact that Kojima also needed to try and find a decent balance between gameplay and story for a game as plot heavy as MGS4.
Convoluted is a word idiots use to describe a story they can't keep up with.
@XboxFun
"Why wouldn't it be as open as people think? "
Because Microsoft...
Honestly I'll believe it when I see it, no end of times has MS employees given out conflicting information.
Exactly. Sure what Microsoft are saying sounds pretty good right now, but what concerns me is what they aren't telling us.
You might want to scale back the optimism there friend, Microsoft haven't given us reason to trust them again yet.
(Edit)
Sony Fanboy? Hahaha! Oh that cracked me up, here take a look at this http://n4g.com/user/blogpos... then get back to me. So you can't criticise a single company without being accused a fanboy of another (sigh)... Makes it real easy to dismiss legi...
It's also a petty dispute regarding personnel preference.
The difference is that no matter what car I get the way I drive it will only ever change ever so slightly.
Now that Microsoft are attempting to put a Kinect 2 in the homes of every Xbox One owner, you can be damn sure they're going to focus more on Kinect based games and pushing it's features to justify it.
That's pretty much the way I feel. MS may be trying to make up for the bad press now but it doesn't take away from the fact they were all to eager to enforce their controversial DRM in the first place.
