I realy enjoyed playing FF-XI and have some fond memoreis of it even though I ony made it to level 35, But I ended up only having a hour or 2 to play it so I stoped.. I'm looking forward to FF-XIV I just hope they make it accesable to those who dont often have alot of time to play.
If DoA was available at the time it may have been enough to sway me,I like the Dynasty/Samurai warriors franchise but I didn't see Samurai Warriors Chronicles amongst the games to choose from.
I think Nintendo could have sold the 3DS a lot better had there been more solid titles.

Exactly, The parents who couldn't care less what their kids play are just as bad as the parents who complain about the Violence in games being the cause for kids being Violent. It comes down to one thing, Stop complaining and try being a responsible parent.

I'm living proof violent games have no negative effect on kids I grew up playing games like GTA 3, Tenchu, Tekken, MGS, Gears of War, God of War, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, House of the Dead, I had fun too and of course I didn't just play violent games. Anyway at no point did I ever think of going out and hurting someone, Sure when you get your but kicked by a boss people can get pretty stressed over it and I guess parents see this as violence influenced through playing games, But th...

@gamejediben I gotta agree, Most of those games you mentioned should be played by the by everyone at least once, It'll show the self proclaimed gamers what real gaming is all about. Devs need to cut back there production concentrate less on graphics hype and just make a good game, Once they get that right then concentrate on the rest.
The difference is Half-life. OoT, MGS and Resident evil 2 where created back when everything was still fresh and new, People weren't expecting to be wow'd all the time so when those games got released people where blown away by them. Also all of those games helped shape the games we play today in some way or another, I don't think you can replicate that without doing something truly innovative that betters the how we play games today like they did.
I played all of those games! 1998 may well have been the best year for gamers =) maybe it depends on your age but for me it is full of fond memories
I never played any Fable games out lack of interest really, So I shouldn't comment.. BUT as far as I know, What Fable is supposed to about, a on rails FPS version doesn't sound like a smart move... Or Kinect

The grass is green, the sky is blue, multiplats are always better on PC. well unless you have a pretty average PC then well, You get the idea.
For returning players a chance to relive a timeless epic and for newcomers a chance to play a timeless epic. Plus the games in 3D you know.
