Now THAT is mad money for a rare game you will likely play for only 2 minutes tops!
Gears of War 3 has no PC version so no buy
Uncharted 3 like every game will eventually get a price drop so I'll wait for that
I would love to get Gears 3 but there is no PC version for Gears 2 and have not purchased it. I probably won't purchase this one either.
Day 1 rent for me!
No. As a matter of fact they have gotten way shorter and costlier than last gen's AAA titles. It is at that point that I ignore most AAA titles that are not open world sandbox games because with some open world wRPG games you can expect to spend at least 100-250 hours if you are really dedicated. With a PC you can download mods to extend the life of your games multiple times the base game has to offer while on consoles you have no choice but to buy DLC for additional content.
I respect these developers. It makes me motivated to go out and buy their game to try it out.
Or simply turn off the 3D. It is optional despite of the system's name. People whining about the 3DS being so damaging to the eyes are crying about nothing.
Even with the 3D, the 3DS costs around $103 to manufacture and priced at $250. Nintendo could afford a $50-100 price drop and still make boatloads of cash because more people will go out and buy one. I believe the pricing is to blame for the sales of the 3DS. This is one big mistake by Nintendo.
Well I am proud not to be a real gamer because I don't play a series of dumbed down gray/brown shooters with 2-4 hour SP campaigns. F*ck playing real games like Killzone 3. I want me some Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid, Animal Crossing, Star Fox, Donkey Kong, Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, and Pikmin!
Even if you are correct, the Wii kicked the HD twins in the ass and they ended up playing catch-up with Nintendo all generation long with their own motion controllers.
How are the PS Move and Kinect sales coming along by the way?
PC + WiiU will be my future gaming setup!
mario is teh best
At the time of writing my post it was quite different in here. People supporting online passes were getting the majority agrees. It appears the tables have turned as 30 minutes passed by...
BTW I am not offended. I don't waste time feeling offended over internet comments.
"Used car dealers will still have to get some replacement parts so Toyota still gets money."
Well bud, used game buyers still have to purchase DLC new, so SONY still gets money. With online passes there will come fewer DLC sales from used games buyers. The online pass is a greed tactic. Sugar-coating it doesn't make it any better.
Remember a time when the N4G majority were defending used games sales? You could go on any article on the topic of used games and you'll find a small number of people supporting online passes and get mountains of disagrees. Now that SONY does it everyone is praising it.
People drank the SONY Kool-Aid, plain and simple. It is sad.
4 people missed the disagree button.
What is with the whole rash of "gamers" supporting mega game publishers and their draconian anti-consumer tactics this entire gaming generation?
@Perjoss
Those are natural disasters that can demolish towns, buildings, and even kill humans in large quantities. This is a gaming company knowingly telling gamers to go f*ck off for not playing their investment within a certain time window, regardless if you paid full retail price. How can they compare?
Well EA, you do an amazing job turning gaming from a hobby to a complete own to rent disaster. Seriously, this gaming generation is getting more and more pathetic by the year.
The Kinect is nothing more nothing less an over-sized PS EyeToy with a glossy coat of paint. This device has nothing revolutionary about it whatsoever. The tool sheds at the XBOX team need to reconsider their agenda and stop downplaying their true fans in preference for the casual gamer.
