When will people that want a specific kind of game actually make one?
My GF got her Wii U today and she's mostly a hardcore PC gamer. This system seems to really suit her as it does me from a gaming perspective. Yes, Nintendo is always about family friendly gaming, but the Wii U is indeed the most core gamer home system Nintendo released since long ago...perhaps unintentionally.
I am also a proud owner of a Zelda WW Deluxe system. There's games I've yet to buy that I want to play.
Virtually most game launches nowadays are early access, full of bugs and problems. They'll just patch *some* of them later.

Xbox fans would be more angry about articles like this than PS4 timed exclusive content. This is completely unnecessary. No way it's getting hits from me.
The majority of Xbox One fans don't really care that much over a small amount of timed exclusive content. This article is exploding the anger of like 2 Xbox fanboys that bothered complaining about it on the internet.
Not only that, but this article is entirely unnecessary.
I am not much of a driving game player, but this game sets me in the mood of playing one.
PS4 is the mainstream console of choice this generation and that will be really difficult to change. All the efforts MS could do to improve the Xbox One won't be enough to outsize the PS4's market share. Same goes for Nintendo with the Wii U.
This of course isn't a discussion of which console is better opinion-wise.
Games take forever to make, especially a game that provides reasonable amount of content and isn't broken on release. Delays happen for many legitimate reasons.
Personally, I need my Nintendo exclusives and the Wii U isn't letting me down on that. In fact there's several Wii U games on the market I've yet to purchase that I really want to play. I got around to playing Pikmin 3 thanks to the MK8 promotion.
It's a really good system.
MS is just more up-front about their bottom line than Sony. All the so-called kind gestures from Sony are nothing more than PR. Can't blame them, but it is what it is. The fact is both companies don't care for the gamer anymore than the money in their wallet.
Well, they say that the Wii U is doomed to failure and Nintendo should just go 3rd party. Not quite the truth.
And, the Wii U haters are on the floor squirming.
Not only the GameCube was more powerful than PS2, it was also cheaper. Not enough gamers bothered with it.
It's not that simple.
Maybe because nVidia is better? AMD is for the poor man. The consoles use AMD because both companies are cutting corners. Both consoles use re-purposed 2012 GPUs and low power tablet CPUs.
Quality is subjective. If you're comparing base numbers against a platform with exclusives that some gamers may find more appealing than PS4 exclusives, you're not making anyone respectful out of yourself. It's not like you will play every PS4 game released in 2014.
Can't wait to play Sunset Overdrive, Forza, and Halo Collection on my PS4!

I will buy it second hand if at all. It's likely going to be one more broken-on-release 60 dollar game from a multi billion dollar game publisher.

I rarely ever run into the aforementioned problems with my gaming rig. It's not the computer that is the problem, it's your carelessness, you know, downloading pirated games or browsing shady porn sites.
