Developers can choose to do native 4K, the box Is completely CAPABLE of that. They never said they were going to ENFORCE 4K on every game. Developers can still choose to target 1080p like the ARK devs.

It's called 4K Bluray. And it's already here in the XBOS and XBOX
Well XBOS and XBOX support 4K Bluray which supports 100GB storage. But games that are on 4K Bluray would have to abandon the OG Xbox One. Which will probably happen anyway. I think every 6 years the oldest model will be phased out. Because it simply wouldn't be able to handle the new games. So in 3 years when the Xbox One XL comes out. The OG Xbox will be phased out, maybe sooner because MS already doesn't even mention the OG XBO. It will probably still play most games but not the new...
