It sounds to me like this was Ninja Theory's own decision. I don't know what their reasons are. But If they wanted a psychical release. They could have gotten it. Microsoft literally owns 4 huge publishers. They could have gone to any of them.
In my mind it probably has to do with Ninja Theory wanting to be a smaller studio that does AAA things with AA budgets.
I heard the budget for Hellblade 2 was less than Redfall.
How is this "MS wanting a digital gaming world", when 99 percent of their games have physical releases?

A lot of AAA titles are overblown. I'd rather have a 9 hour well paced story over games where you have to do a million side missions to get back to the main story.
You're insane if you looked at that and thought " a shame it isn't 3rd person".
I didn't think I'd want it to be 1st person. But the way MachineGames is presenting it, imo they made it look like it's meant to be 1st person and the game is absolutely better because of it. They did a great job at making it feel like an Indiana Jones adventure.
He's stating the obvious. Nobody wants subscription services to be the only way you can play videogames.
But that's also a bit of fearmongering, because subscription services account for only 10 percent of the overall gaming market and it's been slowing down.
Lol if they're willing to make Elder Scrolls and pretty much everything else outside of CoD and Minecraft exclusive, what actually makes you think Spyro and Crash won't be? 😂
If you want to play Indiana Jones in 3rd person, Uncharted and Tomb Raider are right there.
It's on Xbox
@Christopher
Ninja Theory literally told us as much during the video. 💀
@Christopher
I'm not saying that what's happening. It's just the logical conclusion given what we know about Ninja Theory.

I think we need more high budget shorter games.

In 3rd person you'd look at his back 99 percent of the time unless you turn the camera lol
Welcome to team Xbox 😁
At least Xbox has a list 💀
And yet Halo is still here. Where is Killzone? Resistance? Haze? All the supposed "Halo Killers" are dead franchises 😂
Did you have a lobotomy?

New footage from Avowed as well!!
I wonder if they updated the art style since some people were complaining that it looked too colorful.

The definition has changed. Get with the program.
The only console with true exclusives is the Switch.
Isn't the IO game Project Dragon?
