Luckily I've already purchased the original physical copy when the game first launched. This is one of the reasons why I always prefer to purchase my games in physical format. Digital shouldn't be the only future for gaming to those who keep preaching it, like it's the holy grail.
For those who didn't know, here's a fun fact. Halo was originally going to be released for PS2, until Microsoft bought Bungie, which was why it ended up on the original Xbox.
Considering this is Sony's first attempt at having their own AI upscaling solution, while both AMD & Nvidia have had theirs for awhile now and for PSSR to compare quite well, that's pretty darn impressive.
Dino Crisis or Resident Evil Code Veronica would be nice.
Deep Down would make a darn good choice as well.
They were at their peak when they were Squaresoft.
I'm quite excited for it. Since, I'm a level 5 member at my local EB game store, it offers a good trade in price for my original PS5, to offset some the cost for the Pro, which works out to be $599 Australian dollars, which is still a lot cheaper than when I first bought my PS5 at $749 back when it first launched.
Of all the potential remasters, the Soul Reaver games is something I love to see again. Thoroughly enjoyed them back in the days. Looking forward to revisiting the games once more.
Here's a belated video of how God of War Ragnarok runs on PC that I took the liberty of recording. Runs quite well with no perceivable stutters nor bugs as of yet..

Sony has so many great dominant IP's that they can bring back, such as Infamous, Socom, Ape Escape, Jak & Daxter, Siren, Sly Cooper, Killzone, Twisted Metal, Little Big Planet, Gravity Rushy, Motorstorm, Wild Arms, Resistance, Wipeout, Alundra, Colony Wars, Cool Boarders, Knack, Syphon Filter, Dark Cloud, Omega Boost, The Legend of Dragoon, G-Police, The Getaway and so on. Many of these games is what defines Playstation and sets them apart in previous generations.

I'm just going to trade in my original PS5 to offset some of the cost for the Pro. Since, I'm a level 5 member at my local EB game store, the trade in price is quite decent.
People better put their money where their mouth is, when Japan Studio closed down. Support this game if you want to see more of these type of games. It's titles like this, is what defines PlayStation.
And yet you get people buying the much more expensive RTX 4080 or 4090.

As a huge PlayStation fan and someone who's owned every one of their consoles since the PSone era, the pricing is a huge disappointment. There's no way I'm paying over 1.2k in Australian dollars for it......

I've got to admit, I was initially skeptical of Bloober Team developing the game, and seeing the initial gameplay trailer had me worried. I'm glad I was wrong. It's a great remake adaptation of the original game, and I'm glad it's well received by gamers.
Hopefully it sells well enough to warrant remakes for the first game, Silent Hill 3 & 4.
