Right but maybe paid content can't be associated with the version and is connected to the account. Like buying any game on another console you don't just get all the dlc you bought on the first console free on the second.
I agree to an extent. I feel like buying a game should let you play it on anything. However that isn't practical for any console for multiple reasons. Verifying ownership, stress on their network for no revenue etc. I get that it shouldn't stop you from using your epic account on another console. But anyone who thinks skins they buy should be available on all devices are absurd.
So they don't want you to buy content on another platform and then get that same content "free" on their platform. Dlc doesn't usually transfer..so what is the problem?
I've never been able to play any series back to back except uncharted. But that was probably because I borrowed the collection and wanted to return it in a timely manner.

I think we have to realize there is a difference between console generations and "game generations". Many of these comments are talking about things they want games to do. I think it's somewhat of a coincidence that the game itself is actually total garbage and probably wouldn't have fared well regardless of the backlash. I think we are just lucky to have had more reasons not to give it a chance. So less wasted time and we can feel better as a community because we can feel good about banding together. Though I think the failure has much much much more to do with the game just being garbage.
The best of writers can write lots of bad stuff, and the worst can have that one masterpiece, who knows right?
