Not to be cynical..but isn't the kind of the whole point of a "next gen"? I get what you're saying, but it's borderline redundant? :(
By real fans do you mean "fair weather fans"? Because all the real fans out here actually understand this backlash is a combination of things and ultimately boils down to "fair weather fans" being too immature to wait and be patient. I get it, y'all hate waiting, Blizz makes you wait. You want to see what D4 is going to look like a year or 20 before it comes out. But ultimately that doesn't do you any good, you still have to wait to play it. This mobile game? You d...
They don't need better presentation. These things sell themselves
This is still somewhat ironic, I love it
@sleepyhead Shouldn't we be used to waiting 6 years for Diablo? Do we ever learn? Think of this as a new flavor of your favorite drink or snack or something. You get to try this until your food is ready, "or you don't and you go back to waiting like you are used to." You're at a really upscale restaurant, and they're busy and short on staff. Sit back and relax, have a drink with your friends and enjoy yourself. :)
This comparison doesn't even remotely make sense. I get what you're trying to say though. People want what? Diablo 4? We already know they're working on it. They obviously don't have enough, or its too early for them to show it. I think the reason why there is such hate is because the people following are pc gamers. When the people on phones actually notice, they'll be super stoked. I'm happy for them. I also think people are seriously underestimating the mobile audien...
Well if that's the best part. I'll pass on this beautiful world.
not gonna lie, i watched someone stream it for about 20 minutes and wanted to mute it :( the conversations are god awful to me
@Kribwalker That's only a good deal to a smallish percentage of gamers, who plays racing games anyway? :(
This guy making a remark about how the guy looks in the picture matters to you why? Stop being so sensitive, it's his opinion, it's valid, and it is more relevant to the article than your complaint.
Game mode hurts performance in games?
That's funny, now that I think about it I do remember xbox fanboys always saying power doesn't matter. They were right though, it didn't, and the more powerful ps3 isn't what eventually 'won', it was the software. I will never understand how people get so much more joy playing games at higher resolution or higher fps. I would however be willing to bet that it stems from a feeling of superiority that they crave and or lack irl. Maybe some kind of fake consumer thirst th...
@oliver_twist It should matter to you at least a little bit that it isn't selling better, less chances of another "x1x" in the future. Less money for microsoft, not that they're hurting for money. But ultimately the next time you want that premium console, it might not exist.
True, I would take a 500 dollar pc over an x1x any day if I didn't already own a pc though.
@cd1 Is the article called "Have you felt true 'Gaming' Power?" Maybe they're talking about how fast it can load your interwebs with all that power. I mean, that would make more sense because twitter is more entertaining than xbox exclusives. I think it's pretty clear they aren't talking about gaming at all when they refer to an xbox of any type.
Doesn't make it any less true xD
Fair few meaning the minority obviously xD I'd love to have it, but do I really care? No, not really
@Gh05t I think they weighed how many people actually want it, and what it would cost to implement, and there just isn't enough people that ACTUALLY care about it. If it was free to do and didn't cost them money sure, it makes perfect sense, but it's not free and they're betting that their console and games are better enough that you won't buy xbox to play with friends because xbox has crap exclusives. Don't hate on them for betting on themselves. "Insert scenario&...
@rainslacker I myself don't think words should offend anyone regardless of context. However 99% of the time the N word is used in a hateful way in online games. Do I think they need to ban less words? Probably. It shouldn't be a games job to teach critical thinking skills but I think it takes more to learn to not use certain words than it does to call someone names. I feel like you're grasping at straws :( The positive outweighs the negative so much here, I wish people would just ...
That was my first thought.
