Can you prove that it *renders* in 864p?! Because how do you show that on a PS5 that doesn't support that resolution. Sounds madeup to be honest. And before you guys downvote, check the PS5 manual for supported resolutions. No word of (madeup)864p in it.
And... 4k for games = 3840x2160
3840/864=4.44
2160/864=2.50
Good luck scaling that to 4k without getting a distorted picture.

Lazy developers who don't optimize their game engines to be honest. Simple as that. And it has just been worse over the last few years, on console at least. :(

That is exactly the same model but without the heatsink if I'm not mistaken, depending on heatsink it usually cheaper to buy one and assemble it yourself, that's what I did with my 4TB for my PS5. Saved 1/3 of the price of the "official" PS model with heatsink.
Heard this rumour since the PS5 released, one of these days they will guess the right date, might need a few more years, but it will come. ;)
