I have played hours after 1.06 was installed on my Pro, no issues. And the sound/mute bug seems 100% gone. (so far at least )
What source do you have ? TV speakers, headset, surround reciever ?
I have a Pro connected to my homecinemareciever for 7.1 surround sound and it's instant. No delay whatsoever.
So the game is fine, seems something in your equipment is causing the delay, not the game itself.
Learn the difference between biker and outlaw(biker). We have a bikerclub here where I live and they could all be Deacon, so stfu with "caricature of a gruff biker-gang member" because now when summertime starts, I see them driving by my house every single day, and that's just the way they look / are. Nothing "caricature" at all, just great guys (and girls) who love to live on the road for the summer.
Days Gone is a great 8-9 game and I'm curious...

Shut up about Metacritic. Metacritic is for sheeps, they have "The Forest" (buggy as hell game) at 78, and Days Gone at 72 atm, so obviously the critics slams this game harder due to some kind of agenda, probably a "we better slam this game because it's a Sony exclusive"-agenda imho.
I have played Days Gone until 3rd zone so far and it's 8.5 from me (minimum). It plays well, great story, actors are spot on, graphics are breathtaking and the 7.1 sound play...
Better try it out yourself, most really low reviews seems openly biased against Sony over the years, so I wouldn't trust them even if they suddenly gave a Sony game a 10...
Enough videos is out there, if they don't capture you, I guess you have to find a friend who bought it and try it out for yourself if possible.

Bend Studios said from day one, this is a game with everything wants to kill you. Ofc it will take some effort to stay alive in it. Still sounds like a great game for me personally. I'm prepared to do the hard work to survive !

If Sony paid half the cost for making Navi, how could the exact same chip end up in an Xbox? I rather believe AMDs financial reports to investors over xbot/ phil rumours.
I'm convinced that all xbox players are in for a rude awakening when next gen consoles are released.
Sony has already made these deals with AMD about Gonzales and Navi when M$ was occupied with building the X.
And that will be clear to all soon(ish).

I disagree, with PS2 they didn't first unveil it at any big trade show or so, Sony actually "Leaked" details about quite a few main components inside the PS2 to get the talk going, of course YouTube and social media wasn't a thing back then but the end result was exactly the same as it is now with PS5 info.
Same with the PS3, long before anyone knew anything about the actual hardware, Sony once again "leaked" about the Bluray drive that ever...

This is complete bullshit. We have 2 PS4 Pro's and 1 OG PS4 here at our home. You can only assign portforwarding to one device in the home network with a specific open port, so now only one of us here at my house will be able to play online at the time?. GTFO with crappy programming like this !! :(

No. Sony already said they made a mistake releasing Pro and PSVR so close together so PS5 first and a new VR maybe 6 months later or so as the earliest.

EA is probably publishing this title between Battlefield 6 and Anthem 2, like in the middle of same releaseweek so it tanks and EA can buy them up for cheap. That's how they usually plan these things, is it not ?
Just like SolidGamerX experienced, only framedip I had was when I passed a REALLY big horde with hundreds of freakers, but it was just momentairly. Otherwise it have run surprisingly smooth so far.
