@Thundercat With 2000 hours played each for Nioh 1 and Nioh 2 I can agree with the "same base". But that doesn't mean this is the same game by any means. This is a new direction they are taking, using the best from the past but expanding their vision in new ways. The sum of it all is not "Nioh 3". The moral system and enemies getting stronger each time they kill you is nothing like the Nioh games.
So, I still think your "This is Nioh but with a different ...

No it isn't. Nioh games are loot + skilltree based. This one is more skill based with less loot and handling skills different. You can't just judge a game by the graphics alone...

So the same reward as the alphatest had. With Nioh 1 &2 they gave a helmet for the alpha and a weapon for the beta (or if it was the other way around). I hope they at least are 2 different helmets statswise if they have the same name.

I also got this pre-ordered, deluxe edition and all. I'm sure the seasonpass will be worth it just as Nioh's was. 🦾😁✌️

Free PS5 update out tomorrow 14th Dec according to post on PS Store. :)

@SurgicalMenace Nope, I tried early this morning but no update released here in Sweden then, I will try later today, as soon as I get in front of my PS5. :)
But I watched an hour long video on Youtube with a dude playing the game on the PS5. Lots of small bugs and the game "froze" for a few seconds every time he completed a quest.
Didn't get my hopes up if I say so. But I try it out myself as soon as they put the patch on the Scandinavian servers. (PSN here is ...

Still, I haven't played this game. Bought the game on a sale a few months ago and was looking forward to this. But if they re~introduce old bugs from 8 years back you must agree it's a disaster and a total shame for CDPR. Free or not.

The did disrespect him imho. They even started to play music in the background as he was talking to make him take the hint. He won - His time in the light. Let him talk in peace. Was a great speech all things considered.

I'm REALLY REALLY looking forward to this game!! Pre-ordered PSVR2 with a few games and this "non-VR" will make next year one of, if not, THE best beginning of a gamingyear for me.
Only way to top it would be to release Blodborne II. That would make it GOAT of all time for me.
Plus all other great games that will be released first half of next year for PS5. Good times! :)

I have to agree. I have beaten the game (Platinum yay) in a little over the week, but most haven't. I also know quite alot of people that bought this game for their kids/teenagers to get as christmas gift so spoilers should be avoided until early next year if possible.
But we will always see sites doing this crap, "I played it so everyone else better played it too!"..
Hopefully they can add spoiler and change the text visible above before you even click on the ...

He never said people can't enjoy the games. He said why release yearly with so little progress in new ideas and often buggy and halffinished games. I tend to agree, yearly games with no or very little newthinking - is it really worth it?!
Release every 3rd year for example and make it worth the wait imho.

Maybe they should read the PSBLOG posted a few days ago...

"One of the new elements that you could spot in the reveal trailer is the adoption of an over-the-shoulder camera. With that change we want to immerse players even deeper into the game, make them feel like they are a part of this unreal world, and deliver them a more visceral experience across the board."

This article isn't needed. A wish for something that already announced as a new...

I didn't know that Steam Vr had Haptics built into it? Or that is is optimized for PS5?! Stop going offtopic in a PS-related article. Noone cares about your PC VR anyway.

Different controls/camera tracking so don't count on it. I have about 50 PSVR games and I would love to play them on the PSVR2.
Sony said they had make it as simple as possible to "convert" PSVR1 games to the new headset but it's up to each gamestudio to actually do it.
And even when the world is struggling the gamescompanies just think about more and more profit so I'm pretty sure they will just release "upgraded PSVR2 versions" for full pri...

I'm glad Nioh got some love, but I think Nioh 2 should be there too, an even more polished game imho. :)

I platinumed both SE3 and SE4 and I preordered Sniper Elite 5 as soon as it was possible. If you like strategic 3rd person sniping this is a must. Not many games capture the feeling sneaking in to a enemy camp, stealth killing guards and sniping sentrys as great as the Sniper Elite games does. They can be played in any order but the storys are for one year at the time for each game. Same hero - different year/country to play in. Pretty much same gameplay in each game. If you love one game you...
