I'd buy one at $150
"Lack of games"...
Means lack of worthwhile exclusive games that are worth a damn.
Considering PS4 had a "black week" with PS4 @ $199 selling out in gamestop/amazon/and walmart.. I think Black Friday is irrelevant in terms of who sold the most consoles in the month of November.
This is true. ScaleBound should have launched with it to showcase the power.
Considering the Xbox One sold 1 Million it's its first day... 600k in under a month is pretty lackluster.
I never made the claim that it was "DOA".. although it certainly was in Japan.
People realistically expected it to sell well to ok. There's nothing wrong with that.
All i'm saying it how many people traded in their old console for the new system? That's the real question.
"we".... and how many people are you speaking for?
Just stating the truth.
Playstation is the King of Games. Nothing can come close, not even Halo or Forza.
It's twice as good as expected? Ya. All those Xbox users trading in their old console for an upgrade... that's such a 'bitter bird'..
I can get behind the cool controller customization and the large support for backwards compatibility with older games.
But, What Xbox NEEDS to have is better NEW AAA exclusives. Sunset Overdrive has been their only game (AAA) that I could say would be their best attempt at this. Ryse/Recore/Quantum Break... Now Sea of thieves? Those games are ok, but not what Xbox needs. Xbox, I feel, would have been reinvigorated if Scalebound was still in the picture.
...
All I know is PS4 will probably win this season with sales. What metric of success will Xbox One X have? How many people traded in their S's and OG One's for the console?
Horizon/Uncharted/Bloodborne/I nfamous SS/ The Last of Us Remastered/GT Sport.
I'd be ok with 1080p60 than 1440p30.
That's a fairly weak list for December
I agree.
@Pappy,
you little troll.
You go to The Last of Us... it has equal quality MP to Gears and Halo. And GT Sport is the defacto multiplayer racer that trumps Forza.
He made a pretty weak case for the console.
Basically.. Buy an Xbox if you like Halo/Gears/Forza... and if you want to play the better third party games.. oh.. and you’ll need to buy a 4k TV to utilize the console.
I'd imagine it's more than just a 4k Blue Ray movie player.
