@blacktar
I bought an Xbox one S mainly for Halo.
Not really.
The newer PS4 controllers hold a much longer charge.
I'm not spending money on other batteries for a controller. I simply have to plug my controller into the console to charge it. You have to worry about other accessories. If MS really wanted to give the consumer 'choice', they'd include an internal rechargeable battery model.
I dislike the Xbox One UI.
What is the metric for 'selling well'? Do you even know the numbers?
Sony FTW. Their studios are simply better than Microsoft's, and there isn't anything really wrong with that It's just how it is.
Thank you. You took my comment and tried to come up with a clever little retort. The problem is Remotes for TV's and gaming controllers are not analogous. I'm not saying every device should have internal batteries.
Try to stay on topic next time.
Short answer- No.
Long answer. Hell no.
Only if you want to play Halo.
I hope it has a compelling antagonist.
@DarthV2...
You'll spend more buying batteries than buying a new controller. I have a Day 1 PS4 controller. Although the battery life in the controller is short.. (about 4 hours)... I don't need buy batteries to play. I can just plug it in.
I also purchased a newer PS4 controller and that one holds a better charge. Still not needing to buy replaceable batteries.
Are you making the argument that replaceable batteries in a controller are no...
My point still stands. A controller in 2017 needing batteries is quite embarrassing.
I purchased my Xbox One S used. it didn't come with batteries. I sincerely thought that in 2017 the controller didn't need it.
The Wolf Among Us was actually a breath of fresh air for this type of game. I've played the majority of them, and I'd say Batman S1 is the worst. Tales of The Borderlands gets really stupid at the end boss fight.
I shouldn't need to buy an extra accessory.
When I open up the box to play the system, If I don't have AA batteries on me, I can't play the games. It, by definition, still needs AA batteries for it to work.
In reference to 9.... It's not that big of a deal..
One thing that frustrates me as an Xbox One S owner is the Xbox controller STILL needs AA batteries for it to work. It's 2017... not 2005...
That's Only for new game sales. No mention of used sales factoring into numbers.
So what? Does that mean the Xbox One S is not good enough in a world where the PS4 exists?
I’m sure you are..John.
Not if the statistical process was sound.
