The review was better written, with more depth and less bias than many "pro" journalist sites...right down to the disclosure of the review copy supplied by Microsoft.

Sony reports actual consoles sold to consumers, because each and every console has a barcode/serial number scanned at time of purchase -- is and are trackable per unit. People who state this is not possible, know nothing of retail inventory management in 2010. Units can be tracked to the week, day and even HOUR if you like with each console's unique ID tracked.
Look at any PS3 box at retail and you will see the codes clearly printed, and scanned. Some are printed right on...

I know it's one console I recommend doing twice the research before buying a game -- Rent it, or try it before buying because there is lots of junk.
The fun stuff however, is what both parties need to look at closely for their own motion experiences, because done right...it's great!

Why would one motion system with a camera, just because it uses a camera with a wide-angle field of vision have "significant flaws" while another motion system with a camera doesn't get a mention?
Those same 'flaws' are present in both, or nonexistant.
I'd say people knowing they have to actually be SEEN by the camera...any cam...

It's a classic marketing strategy. Send 100 of a product out of the 1000 you actually have to manufacture a headline "Selling out fast" so people will buy it. Is the Kinect or the Move sellout manufactured or real? Probably a bit of both...so what. That's pretty standard 'hype' marketing for a new product.
Your second point makes no sense at all for one simple reason. BOTH USE CAMERA'S - Your complaint that without a booth attendant people don...
I have tried Move because I own it.
True 1 to 1 tracking and most of the games I played put it to good use.
I've only tried Kinect in pre-release form, and experienced the components by both Primesense, and 3DV hardware years earlier (great match!) so I can't speak to the release model, but how is exactly 4 weeks 2 days and 2 million in Move sales bad?
I'll wait till I have the release hardware and software for Kinect to compare, but eve...
