I am a professional web designer so I'll be honest with my feedback. I am not sure what they are trying to pull here. They seem a little confused between having a friendly web2.0 type of website with large fonts and some AJAX effects here and there but they have added so much content that the front page is looking extremely "blocky" and too "busy" if you know what I mean.
I believe that there is should be a little more breathing space and the content...

I started playing Fallout games with Fallout 3 and I never used this trick! Thanks for the tip. One question! Can I steal something off a NPC and then drop it in a bucket and not get caught or loose karma?

You should defenitely go for FO3 not because it is connected to New Vegas or anything because it is NOT but the fact that you can get it real cheap (go for GOTY edition if you can) and because it is a great game. The graphics suck! I got this baby already and started playing it. I am not sure if it is a bug or something but Easy Pete's basically dead and he isn't supposed to be dead cuz well, I need his dynamite. I think I will have to start all over again and NO! I did NOT spoil anything. It's just an optional quest that you do in Goodsprings :)

If they go with that route i.e release the game and then patch it later on then there will be gazillions of fanboy crying and laughing out there. The amount of expectation with this game is simply massive and it must be extremely difficult to make such a huge game without glitches so I guess they are making sure they make more sales and release a quality product with minimum glitches.
Very disappointed but then again, they are there to make money especially considering they have spent almost $60 million on this title and if releasing it close to Christmas means more sales then why not.
