I am not a big fan of that chocolate, shinny look of character models. I like to see some "noise" applied to models so there is some texture in there!
Anyhow, this game certainly looks interesting and I am kind of surprised that it is a PSN game only.
I know most of you are going to disagree with me but there is something about this trailer that reminded me of Bioshock and Andrew Ryan.

Crap! They deserve all the sales! I am not saying that games of less quality should get pirated. Not at all but when a dev has worked hard on a project, you should always reward them for their efforts. For all I know, even the ugliest of pirates end up buying legit copies but then again, they are probably a minority.
Lets see if this pushes Microsoft and Sony to announce a new HD console by next year?

@KDubyah: NGP is only a codename to refer the upcoming portal device by Sony. It could very well end up being PSP2 :)
Actually, it could be the whole brand especially, the name. If you think about it, Xbox 360 as it is now, somehow works but Xbox 720 will make absolutely no sense. Xbox 3 will not work as Sony will be pushing PS4 and Xbox3 will sound like one generation behind. They can't just simply jump to Xbox 4 'cuz you know... what the hell happened to the 3rd one? And Xbox 360 - 2 doesn't make sense either!
So, I guess, M$ will need to change the brand in one way or the ot...

^ Yes, and it still does! I'd rather play Socom, Battlefield or KZ on NGP than COD games but HAVE to understand that there are millions of idiots out there who buy that Annual Activision Anal Crap! So yeah, many will love this.

1 - We don't want "LIGHTNING BOLT ACTION". It should be about stealth and then some more stealth!
2 - MGS without SNAKE is like Waffles without syrup.
3 - Keep it a PS3 Exclusive and if you plan to make all future MGS games as multiplatform then don't gimp down the PS3 version even if you have to release it on like 10 DVDs!
4 - Don't kill SNAKE and stop being an ass. Give us trophies for MGS4 and give us more MGS g...

I don't see how it won't kill PSP. NGP is like wayyyy ahead of PSP. Unless Sony plans to sell PSP for like $50-$100, I don't see how NGP won't kill PSP. That's the way technology works. New one comes in and the old one goes out. Yes, PS2 is still alive but it's not selling heaps and heaps like PS3 and will eventually die out sooner or later.
