sony should pull a little m$ here. Let them sell jb for a while and make some money selling ps3 units and then BAAAMMM!!! simply ban the hacked consoles for everv or simply brick the console (if that is possible).

Question... how difficult would it be for Sony to remove the gameOS? I guess not too difficult! And I think Sony could have done it like last week but maybe they want to destroy ozmodchips and co. and make an example out of them so no one in future will even think about messing with Sony' IP.

You should realize that it is not always about ppl who have already played the game before on a different platform EVEN if the story is linked together. It is to get newcomers as well and the sooner the better.
So that means that ps4 is well under development. At least far out to the point where SONY has already decided the type of media that will be used in it, however, I'm still sure that ps3 is here to stay for a long time.

@scruffy_bear: Thanks for the info. I didn't know anything in detail regarding the Sony and Coke partnership. I still think that even though MOVE launch is pretty close, Sony hasn't advertisted it properly "yet". Reading the whole Coke thing makes me think that it'll all change soon but right now, there aren't many Move ads as compared to Kinect. Lets hope I am totally wrong and Sony pushes Move forward with a huge ad campaign!!
Yeah, they are right but I should add that I think it would have done even better if they had advertised it. I keep seeing Kinect ads all the time but besides the SUBWAY PS3 Move promotion, I ain't seen nothing yet!
Man, every time I see this guy I can't help but remember the whole "Riiiiiiiiiiidddge racer!" Hahaha. Although, I think he is right. PS3 will get pretty close to PS2 numebrs if not surpass them. PS3 is yet to hit the sweet $199 spot and when it does, there is no stopping it.

@rroded: I hear what you are saying but I doubt that. I think SONY is likely to make way more money selling software than hardware. I guess profit margin is higher in software sales especially given the fact that PS3 is not cheap to produce. It comes with almost everything and I guess that must still cost them more money. More than Xbox360 and Wii :)
